buffie
Sarah, I didn't know if I should say but corrr he was yummy, I'd go and work there at the drop of a hat or towel!! Thought it was such a good spirited prog and really useful info. I hope to incorporate green issues in my work and he said exactly what I am thinking about. You don't have to do everything but just what you can to make a difference! BBx
Lesley
Of course we're watching it We like 'whatsisname with the moustache' from his work as one of the experts on S"Ooops, word censored!"heap Challenge. We have the book on pre-order from Amazon. Our (soon to be) stream runs dry in the summer so we won't be building our own waterwheel but we are looking at solar and wind power - we can't wait for the next episode . Great minds - I have just ordered the book too And we recognised him from s"Ooops, word censored!"heap challenge as well Oh, and OUR stream runs dry in the summer too, so no water wheel for us either, which is a shame as I loved it

The Dogmother
I thought he was too Mel, and I don't usually fancy younger men. What a truly inspirational programme too. Lesley, solar and wind powered stuff here

Lesley
Yes, it is his book which has an environmental audit. Thanks for the site Clare - I bookmarked it last time and it's really interesting.
ubereglu
It was so good. He is completely mad. Apparently the locals didn't like it too much. My Grandad said on the phone last night. Mind you hardly any of them are actually from Cornwall, they're mostly retired 'Londoners'. I should know, Dad came from London and moved there with his parents. Now he lives with Mum and Me, and occasionally his son and 2 daughters, when they're no too busy and decide to come down.
Lesley
The Strawbridges? - they were from Malvern, Worcs. They showed them walking my favourite area of the Malverns last night - to St. Ann's Well - a great Organic/Vegetarian/Vegan cafe
motherhen
Whatever people think about the programme, if it gets more people thinking about green issues, and making even a few changes in their lives, then it will be worth it.

Linda
Whatever people think about the programme, if it gets more people thinking about green issues, and making even a few changes in their lives, then it will be worth it. I agree, Jane. Even if people are unwilling or unable to embrace it in a big way, the programme could show anybody that they can make some small changes that will really benefit the environment. The Dogmother
That's right Linda, and it has inspired me to carry on making 'green amendments' to our lifestyle as I can.

Cate in NZ
Oh, no, I forgot to watch it again Problem is there are usually so many more interesting things to do than watch TV I've really got out of the habit of even switching it on I really must make an effort to remember to watch it next week, especially if there are hens on it

Cate in NZ
Tanned, toned chaps And I missed it Why didn't you tell me earlier I'll stick a poster above my TV next week (actually I'd be more likely to see it if I stuck it above the kitchen sink ). Just got to watch the next episode
