Rona
I think he is fantastic the way he boosts women's confidence in their bodies. Don't know if I'd go so far as to go naked for him but when I watch his programmes, I feel so much happier with my body. Anyone else watch him and what do you think? fairy&cake
sorry shirl, hes mine. Hes ctually one of the few people on TV that comes across genuine. It freaks me out tho, because he speaks exactly just like my cousin Matthew. [who isnt gay, but is just as handsome and has a million girls after him]
Joojoo
I thought it was just me that loved him he is just such a genuinely caring bloke. Obviously he makes an awful lot of money from it, but it's so refreshing to see somebody doing it by not making women feel rubbish about themselves to start with. I find him really inspiring I've only ever watched Trinny & Susannah once on WNTW and didn't watch the new ones when they started, but they were so vile - and it's not as if they are much to look at themselves!! fairy&cake
there not naked in the street are they? i thought they had underwear on? I'd get naked for Gok anyday. He'd make anyone look good. Including me who looks a mess!
Basset
Oh no, I missed tonights programme. I like Gok too, he's one of the few people on TV that help people rather than try to belittle them. Apparently he used to weigh over 20 stone and lost over half his body weight, so maybe that gives him more empathy towards people who are not so perfect. fairy&cake
thats interesting: About me: Thanks to the overwhelming success of his Channel 4 series, How To Look Good Naked, acclaimed fashion stylist and on-screen consultant, Gok Wan, has not only secured a second series and accompanying book deal, but has also been paid the unlikely compliment of “man I’d be most likely to leave my husband for.” A remark, that when you consider his easy Jamie Oliver-style screen manner, workable take on fashion and innate ability to make women look and feel good about themselves – his subjects are completely naked and far from model slim – suddenly takes on substantial rationale. Born in 1974 in Leicester, Gok has worked in the fashion industry for the best part of a decade. Studying at London’s prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama, he found himself drawn to hair and make-up over drama, prompting his entrée into the fashion industry and gaining him early work as a hair and make-up artist on titles such as The Sunday Times Style. Finding himself dissatisfied with beauty alone, however, Gok decided to pursue his love of clothes as a fashion stylist. Nearly eight years on his talent and tenacity has seen him build up quite a pedigree: he has worked with some of the world’s most renowned photographers (Rankin, Mike Owen, Tony McGee, Jason Joyce and Arthur Elgot), had his work published internationally (Glamour, The Face, Cosmopolitan, Afisha Mir and People Magazine US), amassed an enviable celebrity client-base (Bryan Ferry, Vanessa Mae, Damien Lewis and All Saints to name a few) and consulted on a host of television shows including How to Look Good Naked (Channel 4,) GMTV (ITV1), Battle of The Sexes (BBC1) Richard and Judy (Channel 4) Make Me A Grown Up (Channel 4) Xtra Factor (ITV2) Big Brothers Little Brother (E4) and MTV Shakedown (MTV Europe). Despite Gok’s growing status as one of the UK’s most sought-after stylists and fashion ‘gurus’, he remains far from blasé (though a little mischievous) about his achievements, especially where his celebrity clients are concerned: “I never dreamt as a child that the people I danced around my bedroom singing to and tried to emulate style-wise, I’d one day get to tell what to wear!” Gok Wan’s book ‘How to Look Good Naked’ is published by Harper Collins and is on sale in the shops and internet April 17th 2007. Including me who looks a mess! Well they were naked in the shop window with all those people watching Even parading in a shopping centre in my underwear would be a step too far for me. They did momentarily drop their robes at the end of the catwalk show as well.
Reikiranf
I agree with you all and often think about how he would be the best friend a girl could have I'd love to get him to come clothes shopping with me Perhaps if he ever does a series called 'How to look good' I'd write in

hennymom
GOK WAN is fantastic, how many blokes do you know that would tell you that you look beautiful naked when you are XX stone and dare to show you off to the public!! The man is a god.... he is point blank straight forward and sees people for what they have inside, he has a natural affinity with women, I felt good just watching him last night... If he is gay that'll be why he is sooooo good with us girls and our bumpy bits...lol, if not he is still gorge (gorgeous) he can do to women with clothes, what we only think a steam rooler could do otherwise.. I havea bit of a flat bum but after having a hysterectomy at the age of 35 I have a bit of a bumptious belly... ok my OH adores me and has eyes for no one else on the planet, which is fab... and I love him to bits, however it's not often a girl will fall for the charms of the likes of Gok and find the rest of the country are also inspired to huggle him for the sake of being a little more descriptive (if ya know what I mean girls)... he can measure my thighs anytime......lol did I just type that I was merely day dreaming

Olly
I love it - have recorded last night's programme, and will watch it one evening this week when I need a boost. I don't care what The Daily Snail says, I think he is wonderful - as Lesley says, he gives women back their self-esteem. It's not what you wear, but how you wear it and he makes women feel beautiful. Lovely to hear that you think your partner is gorgeous, peanut!
