moomin Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 Finally managed to re-size the photos of my chickens, it was my daughters laptop that was the problem, when I did it on the main PC it was OK (I think!!). Hope you like them, they were just chilling out and sunbathing yesterday. Bobbie, the barnevelder is a bit the worse for wear at the moment bless her, she was being pecked at the breeders. They are getting quite bold - top chook is the Cochin believe it or not, I think it's because she is the slightly older of the 2. And they like routine!! I have put in a few treats, just a couple of grapes or the odd bit of lettuce. They totally ignore them!! All they like is their pellets and they just root around all day long pecking at what seems like nothing. Then they will both go in the elgu house for a sleep. The dust bath I provided for them they just stand in it and peck about!! But they will come right up to the door of the run now to say hello in their little chickeny language!! I know, they look at me a bit strangely when I put it on for them!! It was all I could find that was semi-see through so it lets in the light and they can see out. 1/2 price in Debenhams.
