I've just come back from a Health day at a Spa in Somerset. Bought for the 45 b'day last yr, only just got round to using it

IT WAS AWFUL>>>> the place was filthy.. The steam room was all slimy and the whole place smelt like wet dogs on a bad day.

I did'nt complain until I went for a "dry flotation", in a room with a ceiling all watersained, with a hole in the wall.

It is an expensive place, I Left, but have registered my dismay...

at lunch, which was a bit like the salad bar at Pizza Hut, I saw waiting staff brushing crumbs off side plates and re using them on the table!!!

140 mile round trip... I'm not a happy Spa--ee

Going to have a clean shower now.....

If you want a clean Spa - try Wildmoor Spa, near Stratford - it's immaculate (if just a tad expensive..... )

yes, passed it several times but never actually been in - just as well!

I would alert environmental health if they are re using plates etc then they will get an undercover inspection and if as bad as you say they will call in H&S
