Egluntyne
Oh heck. Good luck. I have persuaded Saint Richard...the site manager where I have my little jobette to put it together for me. Hopefully over the w/e. Then I rather fancy having some railway sleepers along side it and need to fill it with Aubiose etc.....so I reckon it will be another week before we are up and running. Phosphorus
I can really picture me phoning the breeder Saturday and rescheduling chooks for following weekend She will love that - might not even be able to do it Need the next few days without rain - so what does it do today: pour all day
Couperman
Many congrats Egluntine You have such im-peck-able taste! I think buying a tailor made run is a good idea. I really enjoyed building ours but it took yonks because of the cruddy weather. Are Flytesofancy erecting the run for you too? Kev.
chelsea
Then I rather fancy having some railway sleepers along side it Oh Eglutine that will look really fab! I cant wait to see the finished product.
Blackrocksrock
Where are you getting your run from? I'm getting it from **Flytesofancy**. Can't wait for everything to be up and running! Have changed my signature btw, Thanks for the reminders! What size are you getting for a run? By the way the purple cube is awesome.
Egluntyne
I'm getting an 18' x9' run Susan. Richard from work is putting it together for me, Kev. Him Indoors doesn't do anything involving screwdrivers and hammers I keep going out and having a little play with the cube. It seems well put together...no sticking etc.
The Dogmother
I've never had a 'handy' OH either Egluntine. Well, Phil is good, but he doesn't live here and I don't like to ask... I've got to be pretty nifty at DIY over the years
Egluntyne
I'm good at flat pack furniture etc but this will be beyond me.
Abbey Road Girl
Egluntine, the arrival of your Cube is a major event in chickenry. And on Shakespeare's birthday as well. In a word, gorgeous!

Egluntyne
My walk in run was delivered this aft. It is now in the side passage waiting to be put together. No leaks in the cube so far even though it poured here yesterday.

moomin
Egluntine I missed this topic, (I tend to hover about on the the Chickens one more ). Congrats on getting your cube, and the run. I bet you can't wait to see it all up and together. I am a big fan of railway sleepers, we use them in our garden, for raised beds etc - very rustic!! And you can balance some nice pots on 'em to 'soften the look'!! I have a chunk of left over sleeper in my chook run at the moment too, like a little perch - they are using it a lot!
