Matthew
have potted on all the seedlings and they are looking perky... but am going to hang on... maybe let them go on day trips to the mini greenhouse
chickencam
If I were you I would put them outside during the day and away in the greenhouse at night for the next coupleof weeks then plant them out if no frost is forecast because that will harden them off and make them less vunerable if we do get a cold spell. We have grown Tumbler hanging basket tomatoes for the last few years and they can go out in their baskets pretty early if no frost but the seed is unavailable this year as a result of a crop failure in last years poor summer. We may put out Tumbling Tom out soon in a basket, but they are not as nice as Tumbler

ubereglu
Mine aren't big enough to go out yet and they need separating into separate pots yet! I'm a bit behind-unlike last year.
hillfamily
it's tricky when we have a spell of nice weather........you want to plant everything out. I would wait a bit longer until we are safely past any risk of frost My Toms are still in my little greenhouse........won't move them out until May
Aunty e
I've cheated and ordered plants But bizarrely, I was cleaning out the mini greenhouse from last year in preparation and discovered that my completely unproductive bean plant has come back to life, with no watering or anything. Woo!
chickencam
I think bean plants can be grown for a second year sometimes
Laura & CTB
I'm thinking about buying some of the "Hundreds and thousands" tomato plants which I could put in hanging baskets. Does anyone know how many plants should go in one basket??
Cinnamon
Mine have just arrived Laura & I am very excited about them It says 1 plant per 12-14 inch basket or 3 per 16 inch. They are nice stocky little plants & look really healthy.
