AMO
got in touch about filming a hen party months ago then never got back in touch. They called earlier this week to say yes they did want to film and are coming round tomorrow at 9am - Aaaarghhh!!! Will spend tonight sorting the garden, scrubbing the Eglu till it gleams, preening the chooks and baking a cake! Had to rustle together hen party attendees - thanks to all my volunteers! I had to go up in a helicopter with her and some others for my old job, and we had to walk across a feild to get to the Heli pad, and she made the men carry her across a teeny patch of mud. 'oooh its toooooo muddy for meee' Lets hope the rain holds off for you., x

AMO
Thanks everyone - I just hope it doesn't rain! The chooks are looking really scruffy at the moment too Fifi is my Amber Star with a purple bum Hazel is one ex-bat with a bare bum Tallulah is my Bluebell with the Hannibal Lecter style face accessory as she caused the bare bums! Toyah (another ex-bat) is the one with half her neck feathers missing so she looks like she is wearing a white scarf OH spray painted one half of the garden fence last weekend and half of my plants have an attractive brown tinge to them

Lesley
- as long as I'm nowhere near the cameras It's very difficult you know - you start off thinking 'what shall I wear' and thinking of something reasonable that might cover all the extra weight......... and end up realising that it is supposed to be a Hen Keeping Course Help!!!!!! I'm quite looking forward to it........... well the cake and company anyway It doesn't help that I had a tooth out last week and still look like a hamster

AMO
Well its been done!! The program is going out mid May and is all about people nowadays creating a bit of the Good-Life. I'll post the details when known. Big thanks again to my big sis, Ghis and her friend Julie, who came over from Leicester, my friend Susie from Northants and Lesley ( who some of you might know ) who came fully prepared with spare eggs and chicken crockery! OK enough of the Oscar speach. It was a bit nerve racking and I fluffed talking about how to store the eggs - my little head kept getting broad side up and pointy side down mixed up so I said broad side down or something silly - luckily I had Lesley facing me shaking her head - they have promised to cut that bit out!
