My parents in law have a shop and they went to a retail trade fair type thing today and Levi Roots was there, giving away samples of his sauce. Does anyone remember him from Dragons' Den? Anyway, they got us a bottle of sauce and it's even signed! How funny is that!!!!!

Our Sainsbury's sells his Reggae Sauce. We always have some in

We tried this last year and quite liked it however how do you lot use it? (If thats not a daft question?)

 

We used it before we BBQed but not too sure what else to put it with

We do! - Lauren and Jake love it! I also add it to all things tomatoey, pasta sauces etc.

I make a stir fry sauce out of it Emma

 

I cook the chicken and veg then add about 1/3rd bottle of sauce and a good glug of dry sherry and cook for about 3 minutes till the sauce reduces back down

I do the same thing with Black bean sauce in a jar and one day didn't realise I had none so tried the levi roots oine and haven't used black bean sauce since

 

I sometimes add a fresh chilli too if I want it a bit hotter

It's totally brilliant on a fried egg sandwich.

 

I was quite suprised the Dragons took him up as at the time he'd got all his calculations wrong and they'd just completely destroyed another bloke for the same thing. Glad they did though 'cos his sauce is good eatin
