Karen & co.
I've just been on a mad dash to pick up OH who had gone out for a bike ride as he is doing the coast to coast again next month. He hit a pot hole with the front wheel and fell he has mashed the skin on his elbow shoulder and hip luckily no bones broken his watch is in lots of bits but luckily he was wearing a helmet. I just wondered when men realise that falling off things is for children learning new skills Karen x

Nicola H
I don't think they ever grow up Karen........... I do hope he is OK but i am sure it is his pride that is hurting most, of course you will have to look after him today because if he moves of the garden lounger he could make his injuries worse.......... And i believe that cold beer is very good for shock or so my OH tells me anyway.............

Laura & CTB
Glad he's okay. I bet he'll have some fabulous bruises later Will you be buying him a new watch now?
Couperman
You never forget how to fall off a bike God job he had his skid lid on. He should find out who owns that pot hole and sue them no win no fee and all that. Theres some nice chaps on the telly who could help with that and they do it all for free out of the kindness of their little hearts. Kev. Ain't Nobody Here
Glad he's OK . I can sympathise, I've had to do a couple of mercy missions to collect my OH and a bent bike myself . I've started cycling a bit this week and am very at the state of some of the roads, especially near the kerb where cyclists have to go. Mrs Webmuppet
The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys. On a more serious note, write to the council and complain about the pot hole. I used to do a lot of cycling and as a result of potholes wrote off several wheels...........the council coughed up the cash for new wheels nearly every time.
