Age is all in the mind! I'm 34 and DH is nearly 38...I teased him about being close to 40 and then said "That means you're a grown up!" We've been married for 12 years and have 2 kids, 3 cats, 3 chickens, a mortgage etc. Does that mean I have to be a grown up too?

Me too Tina - early (not for much longer ) 40s with a 3 and a 5 year old. Most of the time I forget I am twice the age of most of their friend's Mums! Then there are days they make me feel about 90

My grandaughter was one on Friday - she's of course the most beautiful child in the world I have her on a Wednesday and feel absolutely shattered at the end of the day. Love her to bits

Aw, she's adorable. So glad I looked at this topic Sootem. Plus, we're a similar age and there are a lot of our generation on the forum.

 

One of the assets of this forum is the wide range of ages, some really lovely teenagers, and younger, then each decade thereafter is well represented too.

If you're a spring chicken...which I don't doubt for one minute......not quite sure what that makes me! I became a pensioner last week but remember my 21st like yesterday. Have got 2 gorgeous grandsons and 2 beautiful granddaughters who I don't see as much of as I would like [due to location]. Am sure I'd feel younger if I saw more of them and would probably be a lot fitter

Time does really fly the older you get - that is a fact I just believe in living every day to the best of my ability and always try to be positive. As my mum used to say ' this life is not a dress rehearsal'

Lol no i think there are a few of us, i'm 44 and have a 21yr old and 2 teenagers, i actually feel quite young next to thir friends parents. I childmind so i am forever young lol though my body dosn't always agree!
