surferdog
Does anybody have a pair of these and if so what's the verdict? I was thinking of getting some but don't want to end up with a pair of very expensive flip flops! Thanks. http://www.thefitflop.com/faqs
lisa33
My ex boss wore these when we used to do our daily lunchtime walking. She said they were really comfortable, but I haven't tried them myself.
Bexiboo
I bought a pair from boots webby and I tried them on and wore them on the carpet and they immediately started rubbing my toes, so they went back I am afraid.
Cinnamon
I have never heard of them, but I wear the Crocs flip flops (Athens & Capri), & they are wonderfully comfy
Ange1
Hmm like the idea but I must resist no more sandals or shoes this summer! I love me powder blue crocs with little pink cupcakes on them though
Seagazer
I bought a pair of the MBT trainers which are the same sort of thing. I used them for a bit but then they got consigned to the back of the shoe cupboard - they really are a disgusting colour blue. I could really feel them working out my wobbly bits. Didn't persevere with them long enough I don't think. I was looking at the fit flops as I wondered if I would wear them more ie round the house and garden etc. Let me know if you do try them
Paola
This is the first I have ever heard of them They make some funny looking ones
ubereglu
Apparently they're really good. I think it does depend on whether you actually like wearing flipflops. I have a pair of crocs athens flipflops that are really comfy-I bought mine from Jellyegg for £20 in their crocs sale that they had. They still have crocs ithaca flipflops too for only £19.99. Ange1
I must say I think I am strange as I don't like the feel of something between my toes, reminds me of walking on a pebbly beach wearing sandals and getting a small stone stuck between my toes ouch! Egluntyne
I'm not keen on having things between my toes either. Edited June 9, 2008 by Guest
Omletina Kyckling
It's funny, I'm the same....some people long thong sandals but I can't get the hang of them at all.....
lizinsa
I've got a pair but haven't had much chance to wear them because of the weather! Have worn them today and they've been really comfy, but when I took them off I realised how 'soft' they make the ground feel because without them on felt very rigid. [not sure if that makes sense ] I also love flipflops so the bit between my toe didn't bother me. I have a bad knee and have been recommended them as a way of strengthening the muscles around it, time will tell!
surferdog
I'm fine with flip-flops - it was the 'workout while you work' bit that attracted me (being a lazy person who hates the gym). Think I might go for it. Will be the first non-chicken related thing I've bought in months! Will let you all know how I get on (hoping to end up with a bum like Kylie's but I don't think they work miracles )
ajm200
I've got a pair and find them very comfortable. Don't know if they help to trim legs and bottoms as they claim but they are them most comfy flip flops I've had - Even better than my hush puppies
jess
Well wherever you buy them from dont get them from lovethoseshoes.com its absolutely terrible
ajm200
I got mine from runningbare.com. They have some of the new styles on there site. Much nicer than the original ones that are bit masculine
Seagazer
I've just ordered some! Anything that stops me from having to do Davina's dvd (actually I've only done it once) but when I get back from walking the dog I really don't want to do any other exercise. Then of course if I do the dvd I don't want to do any housework (which of course I haven't been doing because of the chickens and the forum). Oh dear
redfrock
here is a review on them http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/women/fashion/article1728312.ece
MedusA
Ooooh! I have MBTs and love them. I'll have to look into these for the summer.
The Dogmother
I have some! Given to me by the friend who gave me my MBTs after I demonstrated them at a fitness show for her when she first imported them. I only got them at the weekend and they are very comfortable and seem to make my legs a bit tired, so must be doing something. Bear in mind that I'm pretty fit anyway so the impact on me may be less than on others. Now, all I need to do is to write my review for her.... Cinnamon
Are they the black glittery ones Claret, or the suede fringed ones?
Phonix
They sound good in theory.... I wonder if they work??? I'd love something like this as I can't go to the gym as much as i'd like due to knee problems x
ajm200
Phonix, They might make your knee problems worse as they work by messing with your natural centre of balance forcing the calf and bottom muscles to compensate. Mine are really comfy but I've had them for over a year and they did make my legs ache at first. I'd love some of the new sparkly ones but I've got the original boyish ones and can't see hubby agreeing to get the girly one for me
Tiggy
I can never keep flipflops on, end up walking out of them & falling over, even my surgeon says I have funny feet cheek
Phonix
I really like the gladiator type ones that are a bit like boots but like ajm200 says they may make my knees worse so i think i'll just wait a while! x
