Sorry has to be Jeremy Clarkson

He is the best.

Quite keen on the others but the show could do without them, would fall apart without him. Together they make an excellent team

Alexander has discovered this on uk Gold or whatever channel it's on - we are always hearing him guffawing from his room as he watches it. I think it's quite good as well- just always seem to miss it when it's on- What time is it being shown ( I haven't watched the youtube, my Mac is really slow today)

I love the shots of the Stig just sitting there!

did u see the the episode where they tested bike, public transport, car and power boat from one end of london to the other??

the footage of the Stig was hilarious!

(and their embarassment that the car came last!!)

Phil

My daughter got tickets to watch that episode being filmed. My husband went with her as you have to have 1 male and 1 female apparently. They are in the front of the crowd as they talk about doing the trip round london. They had a brilliant time. You can get the tickets free from I think its Applause.com or store or something like that.

just as a warm up....

Hammond:

Unless I have been sorely misinformed, supermodels are powerless to resist a man with illuminated doorsills.

The last time I saw plastic like this it contained Tic-Tacs

And the other thing is, every time they launch a new model, they try and outdo each other with the quantity of letters and numbers after the cars name. So! These are the two new models. This is the Subaru Impreza STi, WRX, WR, 1. And this is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. VIII, MR, FQ, 3, 20.

Clarkson:

It's like a lion in orange dungarees. Kind of fierce, but ridiculous all at the same time.

Ferrari is so pleased with it, they've named it after the founder of the company. They call it the Enzo. That'd be the same as Lotus calling their next car...”The Colin".

We start tonight with the highlight of my childhood. It's the Ladybird Book of Motorcars from 1963, and as you would imagine it's full of rubbish really. Just endless boring grey shapes, until you get to page 40, where you find the Maserati 3500 GT. Now this for me, when I was little, was like kind of Jordan and Cameron Diaz. In a bath together. With a Lightning jet fighter. And lots of jelly.

May:

James May: [looking through the survey results] I've just noticed, looking though these results, that ten of the thirteen bottom cars are French.

Jeremy Clarkson: That's possibly why they're burning them in Paris at the moment!

James May: I think they're just catching fire by themselves!

Would the Honda Element be a car for people who like hip-hop, or for people waiting for a hip-op?

I am officially Captain Slow on the programme. I can drive quite quickly round the track, I've done it a bit, and I think fast track driving is a little like playing the bagpipes, you know, a gentleman can - but doesn't

I could care less about cars (I drive a skoda!) - but their humour, enthusiasm and use of language is infectious..

Compulsive viewing in our house, Son is watching all the repeats on Dave too!!

I love The Hamster (so cute  ), I think JC is outrageous but very witty (probably suffers from Aspbergers as he doesn't seem to care how anyone else feels! Probably why Son likes him!!) and JM is knowledgable but in a nerdy/geeky sort of way (Telegraph column in the Motoring section on Saturdays is excellent)

My Eldest Daughter adopted a hamster from Pets & Home rehome section and named him HAMMOND when I asked why she told me it was because he was being given a second chance in reference to Richard's 2nd chance following his dramatic Crash!

Definitely Hammond! Not only gorgeous but you have to love a man with a Jack Russell AND chickens:

Don't tell my chickens they could be related to a Tyrannosaurus Rex

Don't tell my chickens they could be related to a Tyrannosaurus Rex. They enjoy chasing our Jack Russell terrier around the place as it is and have no more fear of humans than, well, a T-Rex would.

Mention the links American scientists say they have with the mighty prehistoric predator and they'll take over...
