Tamsin
I had a few Barbie eggs and started one off in the airing cupboard, in a sock, this was followed by four more!. My little silkie cross broody hen took to the eggs and with careful swapping, she adopted them. This is her first clutch of eggs , she is a hen I reared last year and she is very kind like her mum. This morning I heard the 'chip chiping' of an egg about to hatch and chick noises. The egg had hatched by lunchtime with a healthy chick,Muffin is the daddy so this is his first youngster. I will post a piccy later. Tamsin.xx
