I am just starting the ironing. I big steamy iron should warm me up, and a big mug of ovaltine mmm.

grey and muggy here, no rain though. just occasional drizzle.

Raining here too so we walked 4 miles to Oadby and did a bit of mooching. Well, OH and DD walked, i went on my mobility scooter. You should have heard them moaning about how far it was Lightweights

 

Now sat watching DVD's for the afternoon. OH is procrastinating as he doesn't want to sort out his boxes form when he changed jobs. Maybe threatening to burn them will do the trick.

 

My Mum is doing a 9 mile walk tonight at midnight, raising money for her local hospice

It was raining this morning,but despite being cloudy-its quite warm with a nice breeze.

Rainy and horrible

OH said it was too hot turned off the heating and opened the windows. I've been slowly warming up since he's been out and the windows have been closed.

Yes I thought it was today as well. Put the heating on and did my school reports - Oh joy!!!

We spent the day in Berwick at a regatta and it was quite nice, dry and warmish. Came home to Edinburgh and the heavens opened . I was going to post about it being mid-summer too .

 

The corrugated plastic's gone back on .

Went to see Bon Jovi play in a field far from everything on Thursday night. He mentioned the fact that it was still bright sunshine at 10pm!

Simply gorgeous here today (so far), with a bit of a breeze. Good drying weather.

 

It is amazing how much the grass has grown after one day of rain.

Make sure you get there early - we were in a 4 hour queue (only had to go 20km or so) and missed the first half hour! Lots of people turned around and missed it altogether.

feels like the longest day here in Devon today.

Well, we were camping in that! Me, OH, our friend and between us 5 children aged 2-9 years. It was our friends first ever time in a tent so it was a real shame that it CHUCKED it down in Weymouth, then it tricked us with an hour of sunshine yesterday morning so we hearded to the beach only to be drizzled on and blown away Then last night into this morning I thought we were going to take off in the wind

 

Still, the dog came with us and had her first ever look at the sea which was VERY funny and as expected, she loved the waves. And despite the absolutely miserable weather we all had fun (cooking in the rain ) and even now 4 loads of washing are done and there's till one more load to go, I'm looking forward to the next trip. Just hope we have a little bit more sunshine!

We left a lovely day in Sheffield for a rainy dreary dull day in Manchester.

 

The company was great though, so it didn't matter.
