Memory foam mattress?

Recommended Posts

Yes! :D

I wouldn't be without mine now.......there was a long running thread called New Bedding! - I think......

I think ours was from John Lewis. I was not sleeping well and put it down to growing older  All my joints hurt even though we have a decent mattress. The difference the memory foam topper made was wonderful!

I would try that, yes.

My sister's bed was an expensive one so I wouldn't go down the route of buying the more expensive mattress :?

I just pull ours each morning and give it a good shake up and down - I can see where it would form into a ridge if I didn't.

I am reading this with interest, I have bought a memory foam topper for my mum's birthday in July. She has trouble with her joints following an accident and also doesn't sleep too well. I bought it with the cashback on a catalogue we have bought white goods with, so it was free :D

The other day I saw an identical one in the little ex-catalogue shop down the road for £28, and am now wondering if it will be a good buy :?

We've got a memory foam topper and it's great. Doesn't go into a ridge either as it just springs back into shape. We bought ours from the QVC outlet at Warrington. Brand new and unopened for £29.99 when they are £140 ish full price from QVC. I know we wouldn't be without it now.

I have memory foam mattresses on my spare bed - It is one of those Ikea day bed things that stretches out to make a double. At the moment I have sore hips (usually my back) and have to admit that it is more comfy and I get a better nights sleep than I do on my main bed mattress (which cost a lot more!)

It's funny because it doesn't feel springy, but when you sleep on it it is sooo comfy.

we've got a memory foam mattress and it is divine - really aids a good night's sleep

We went for a proper mattress with it built in when we decorated our master bedroom. It wasn't cheap about £700 I think, but with Joe being so small and very boney and me being a bit fuller figured we had to get a good one.

It's comfy yes, but as the memory foam works with body heat to mould to your shape, it gets warm, and stays warm too! We use a summer duvet all year round as we started to roast otherwise

Wouldn't be without it now.

I have a memory foam topper and think its fab!! Got the QVC one for about £120 (on offer) about two years ago..

I have back, hip and joint/bone issues that make lying down for more than a hour very painful.. this plus memory foam pillows have totally changed my nights!

My family have now got them too.. one of them has the full tempra matteress however this has exactly the same amout on foam just on top of the main part.. so why bother spending nearly 2k more!

Thanks for this, so two fitted sheets, but you wouldn't need to wash the one covering the real mattress very often, if at all. Hmmm, I am very tempted, I am so stiff and achey first thing in the morning, takes me ages to get going :(

You can get deeper fitted sheets now. We bought our bedding in America as it was the early days of Superking size beds over here and trying to find bedding was a nightmare. Our sheets fits over both the mattress and the topper.
