rabbits and chickens battered to death*Warning**

Recommended Posts

OMG! I wish I hadn't read that.

Whoever did that is seriously sick in the head.

We used to have a pets area at school and it's what sparked my interest in having birds, I've loved them ever since. I feel so sorry for those poor children to have seen those dead animals. They'll be scarred for life, poor kids.

I once read a book written by a criminal profiler (very depressing reading).

Almost all serial killers he had studied had a history of torturing or killing defenceless animals before moving onto doing much the same to people.

He didn't go as far to say that all people who torture and are evil towards animals would develop into serial killers, but I wouldn't mind betting the percentage is quite high.

I really can't get my head around what anyone would get from slaughting pets in the dead of night.

some people are just pure evil, there's no way to understand evil.

I seriously don't understand how anyone could do such a thing, but that I suppose is what sets these "people" apart.

Like you Couperman I have read many books about serial killers and many from the perspective of a profiler or psychologist and many of these evil people so start their criminal career in such a way. I believe that such treatment of animals such be treated as severely as such treatment of humans as animals have no way of fighting back - for those who don't agree maybe they should look into the lives of some of the most prolific serial killers and see that many started out hurting/torturing animals and if tehy had been treated more severely then they may not have had the opportunities to kill human beings that they did in later life as they would have been too busy serving a prison sentence/ locked away in a secure hospital.

It scary to think that these people could be living next door.

At the moment im putting off getting chooks as im worried about the local lads that see the garden as a through passage for them (just found out that they terrorised the previous owner so maybe when they realise that i'll stand up to them they'll back down) but right now i just don't think the garden's safe for chooks.

Not a nice thought.

My thoughts now though are with those children, their teachers and their parents

xXx

(sorry to ramble  )

cant bear to look at link, because I suspect I will not like what I find, and can imagine it only too well.

the only thing you can say about these 'people', apart from the fact that I would like to batter them back, is that something must have been sorely missing in their childhoods - not to excuse them, but something must have gone VERY wrong along the way in their lives.

Me too, I'm afraid. I read something 30 years ago about what someone did to a hamster, and I still have nightmares about it! Sorry I haven't the courage to look, but I can't think of anything too evil to happen to these evil sadists. It makes me :vom::cry:

It's awful, Blaby is the next village along from me and the thought of it being so close just makes me feel sick.

Someone had chickens on our allotment site until youths broke in and beheaded all 12, just for fun.

What is wrong with people like that? It's just incomprehensible, isn't it?

I'd dare bet an entires months salary that this was teenagers because they always seem to enjoy vandalising and breaking into schools. This is truly sickening that people would take the greatest satisfaction in killing defenceless animals.

Is there really any hope for the human race?

WHY OH WHY?? Surely someone heard something? It just leaves me feeling cold and very sad..... I hope the person/people who did this get caught and get treatment as I dread to think what would happen if they didnt get caught as to what they could do next. Those poor children im sure it will stay with them and there mum now forever.

Bit of a generalisation, as I am a teenager who does not break into schools, or vandalise etc and have 4 of my own chickens and 2 of my own rabbits.

Whoever did that have serious issues and make me sick, I seriously hope whoever did this is found and charged for this, and is never allowed to keep animals again :x:x:x

I feel for all of the people in the school, I'm so sorry for them :(

Maybe generalisation, but the chances of it being done by a gang of middle aged businessmen is pretty remote.Im not implying that all teens are vandals because they're not,but some are.

When I read of horrendous acts like this, I have to remind myself that it is a tiny minority of people who would take part in such mindless violence. I can't begin to understand why they get any pleasure from it and hope that they are caught and punished. Browsing round this forum can instil some hope for humanity and raise the spirits a little!

I too couldn't read it, I have laid awake at night many times after reading horrific stories about torturing animals and it makes me so mad and upset that 'people' act this way. Unfortunately, its not just the mindless idiots in this country, it is worldwide and I would would drive myself insane if I tried to think I could save every suffering animal - I wish I could. At least I know that every animal I have ever owned has been truely cared for and loved and im sure that goes for every single person on this forum.

I also hope that all of these sick yobs rot in hell

absolutely not defending these horrible people, but in order to do somethign like this surely some really important things, like love, empathy, self esteem, must have been missing from their lives?

I find it really hard to believe that their parents (and yes, I too am assuming it was teenage yobs although I truly know that MOST teenagers arent like this) would condone their behaviour? maybe I'm just naive, and there is a whole group of people who think animals dont matter - in which case, they have missed out on an awful lot of love.
