Egg Lou
Been hooked on this! just hard keeping up with a 5 part.. do prefer 2/3 part dramas really as so much easier to not miss anything!

The Dogmother
This'll make you titter - I did a search on the BBC site for 'criminal justice' to see what you're on about. The first result that came up was a picture of old 'Golden Brown' and the title 'Prime Ministers Questions' Made me laugh like mad! http://search.bbc.co.uk/cgi-bin/search/results.pl?q=criminal+justice&scope=all&tab=av&recipe=all

Louise
Very good Claret I was going to watch this but the first episode ended up being on way too late for me after the Tennis on Monday so it will have to wait till it is repeated which the BBC will do at some point
The Dogmother
I see that it isn't on iplayer either. Never normally one ot watch TV, I am stocking up on things to watch and books to read when i am off on bed rest.
Louise
At the moment I am stockpiling DVD's as I lose my signal on 6th November and I am not guaranteed to be able to recieve digital after the switchover I don't watch lots of TV but I do use it most days I won't have a dish installed so if freeview doesn't work I will just have to get used to it
The Dogmother
Sounds a bit like me Louise Never watch TV anyway Rubbish signal in Banbury Refuse to have a dish Digibox donated by a friend doesn't seem to pick up most of the channels that Rosie can get at her Dad's house the other side of town (not that I care)

chickencam
It is on iplayer I have just watched the first episode whilst ironing. Powerful stuff and as a parent tough watching, but I'm hooked now so maybe the ironing pile will go down over the next day or so
Lapinou
We watched the first episode on iplayer, so it is on there. Hang on, will find a link... Episode 1: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/b00cfl1h.shtml?src=ip_mp Episode 2: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/b00cfmk2.shtml?src=ip_mlt Episode 3: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/b00cfmnf.shtml?src=ip_mlt All on for a good few more days yet
The Dogmother
Ahhh, now that's odd, when I googled it, it came up. But when I searched the BBC site for it, there was no result. Thanks Liz.
The Dogmother
Sorry Clare, cross-posted. Thanks for that.
MedusA
I'm finding it compulsive, if scary, viewing. My OH used to work within a prison. It's horrific to think what goes on. And don't get me started on the shenanigans (sp) within the legal profession. The acting is brilliant.
Lesley
We're finding it compulsive viewing as well - and quite disturbing.....
Faye&Ant
My manager said it was really good but as I had missed the first episode it probably wasn't worth me watching the rest! I might see if it's on catch up tv
Tessa the Duchess
My manager said it was really good but as I had missed the first episode it probably wasn't worth me watching the rest! I might see if it's on catch up tv I'm not watching it, but apparently it is repeated on BBC1 at 2.10a.m. staring Sunday Tessa
Guest
Thank you Tessa. I tried to record it from iPlayer but my machine wouldn't record. I think you can't from iPlayer perhaps? But then I went through a different route and my recorder is recording it now. But it's good to know I can get it at the weekend too if this way doesn't work. Lesley
We thought we had it sussed until last night - when we completely changed our minds It is very well written and the acting is superb.

Ditto. I hope the ending isn't going to be a disappointment. I love the way the naive (sp?) young barrister keeps wrong footing Mr Clever Clogs. The prison scenes are terrifying. chickencam
I watched the first 2 episodes on iplayer yesterday and I am about to watch the next 2 and really make a hole in the ironing, hopefully not literally if it is too gripping
Faye&Ant
Thanks for the tip Tessa, thats one for recording then. Im not going to read anymore this thread just in case the ending is given away before I watch it
