Ain't Nobody Here
ES has just left for Nottingham to compete in the trials to go to the Anglo-French rowing match in Valenciennes. If they are successful tomorrow, they leave for France on Thursday and come home on Mon or Tues. Then back down to Nottingham for the National Championships on Friday. I'm feeling nervous for him already . We should hear by 5pm tomorrow if they've got through. Edited July 20, 2008 by Guest

Ain't Nobody Here
So disappointed for them . They didn't get through . The coach says the English teams have all been racing in lots of competitions whereas our boys just don't have the chance up in Scotland. They won all their events at the Scottish Championships but tbh there isn't the same amount of competition up here as there is in England. Never mind, they're staying down till Saturday to train for the National Championships next weekend so fingers crossed they'll do well there. MedusA
Oh, what a shame! The coach's comments sound valid, unfortunately. I wish him the best of luck for the Nationals.
