Saw 'Location' last night Lesley.

 

All I can say is "Fantastic". What a lovely place to live

 

I wonder if the couple on the programme ever bought anything, in the end, for their camels

I saw it too :D

 

I looked in the TV guide and when they said Warwickshire and camels I knew it would be your one :lol:

 

Fabulous place but that couple were so annoying I am glad they didn't get themselves sorted :roll:

 

Afraid I didn't tape it though I should have done and we could have had another pass round :oops: They are usually repeated after the end of the series I will keep my eyes peeled I am a location addict and will even watch repeats :oops::oops::oops:

I've got it recorded on Sky Planner - I should be able to copy it onto DVD. We haven't watched last weeks programme yet, or I may have noticed from the trailer :roll:

 

The camels are still at a local farm where they have alpacas so presumably, they haven't found anywhere to live yet. They made an offer just after we did - there were 5 people in the queue behind us in case everything fell through..

 

Although they mentioned the mess on the programme, they didn't show the half of it :roll: We certainly aren't going to be spending the £100,000 on tidying it all up as was mentioned - another year won't make much difference and slowly we will clear it.

Just what I thought Lesley when I heard the cost of turning a smallholding into a yuppie 'farm' - I sat there and thought - L & C will do it for nothing more than a bit of graft and sweat :D

 

It looked lovely as a working farm though, with lots of promise :D:D

:) Turns out that my parents might have it on tape for me, but it has 2 other programmes on it that they want to save so I can't really help.

But, it was so funny when I suddenly realised that they do record a lot of programmes & then watch them later, and Location, location might be one of them.

I ended up in a surreal conversation, having explained all about The Plan to Mother, right from the start & up to date (quite useful as I've no news to tell myself!)

"So, why's your friend got camels then?"

No, she's not the one with the camels, that's the couple in the programme.

...looks in Radio Times "Ah, yes, it says they're racing camels! Did they buy the farm then?"

Um, the people in the programme didn't, but my friends did.....

Lesley, perhaps if you could just get some camels next....

PS. Mother is completely with it, it's obviously the way I explain things! :lol:

Sheila - how could your parents even think that Carl and I are that couple :shock: - I'm very upset now :?

 

I have now got it off Sky Planner and onto DVD. First person to say they would like to see it can PM me their address and I will send it. If anyone else wants it then it can be posted on like the Chicken Book - each person can contact the next in the queue for their address.

 

And before anyone asks - no, we didn't pay that much for it! :lol:
