Snowy
Actually, it's quite good this thread - we've got girly girls and tomboy girls, girly boys and manly boys. What a wonderful variety of humankind we are!

Sheilaz
This is the funniest thread I've read in ages. Also interesting re the subject of the portrayal of angels, I love it when topics go from coffee spluttering to serious points and then whizz back & forth. OK, I'm female & solely in charge of the hens & forum addiction in this house, although LSH suggested getting a couple in the first place. whittlewitch
I think there are probably more men out there than show in the poll, my husbands got quite into my chickens, but would never participate in a forum, its bad enough getting conversation out tof him never mind a posting! My brother is seriously thinking of getting chickens - apparantly he's waiting to see if I get bored - the he can have mine for free!!! buffie
This is nice, well worth taking a break (working since 6.30am ...honest ) Well I'm a tom boy who can be girly. I wore a skirt on Sunday, Mikey made a comment So I get the message that when I am not doing the day job I dress like a lad. Sorry Mark, I think I made the wrong assumption too. I speed read most of the time. Nice to see who we all are on here Buffie x
Seagazer
Ah, but have we any ladyboys, I wonder . Sorry but that was so funny it made me laugh out loud - not that there's anything wrong with being a ladyboy

Richard T
I'm a boy. The chickens were my wife's idea but I do most of the looking after, and I'm on the forum more often than she is (I look in mainly when I'm at work where I get bored easily). If it hadn't been for the forum I wouldn't have found out that is was possible to keep chickens in the garden. And despite the high factor ( ) the forum is a great place to come for info on keeping chickens, and for info on a lot of other stuff. Looney
I'm definitely female, otherwise you would have seen me in the paper recently as the first 'real' man to have given birth (Forget the imposter that has been in the news recently, he started off female!) I'm not a girly girl though and rarely wear skirts / dresses unless it is a special occasion....and then I do enjoy getting all dressed up! I guess what I mean is normally I can't be bothered going to too much effort
Willow
Female (as was probably evident from my name I lack imagination but not very girly. Used to never go out of the house without my make-up on when I was late teens/20's - now (40's) I have to search for it when I head into the office Chickens were most definitely my idea
Valkyrie
I have been in tears laughing at the comments, poor Christian, He-Man of the Universe! Just for the record I am female, but before I was married I always used to get loads of unsolicited mail addressed to Mr. I didn't get to Secondary school but the authorities hadn't notified them that I had been accepted into an all girls Grammar school instead. As a result I was still on their books and a couple of lads that were in Primary with me were told off when they advised the PE teacher there that I wouldn't be interested in football because I was a girl - the teacher thought they were being rude about a girly boy! In those days boys were called Kerry - very unusual for a girl, and I was the only one with that name in all schools. Now it seems all the naughty little girls in the supermarket are called Kerry and I'm always turning round to see who's cross with me! I always thought Angels4 was a biker!
