redhotchick
Am I the only Omleteer who would join an "Olive Oil Tasting Club" Sounds like an educational and interesting experience (at least for 12 months) to me.
Snowy
He was a lovely chap wasn't he? Sold me on it! (don't think I could justify £20 a bottle though! )
jlo
Had to agree with The Dragons on that one. Might wander back to see the men's underwear now!
redhotchick
Mmm, mens underwear, now that was an interesting concept. Didn't quite catch it all though Was the olive oil £20 a bottle! gosh maybe not joining that club then!
Krysia
yes it was over £200 a year membership
Guest
£265 a year membership then £20 plus for 1 bottle of olive oil, erm no thanks! basically you're paying for him to go off on jaunts round the world to collect the olive oil for you. I love that programme, wonder if I should set up a lemon curd club?
Snowy
Now I think you may be onto a winner there Poet - maybe a lemon curd and chutney club? £300 a year plus £3 per jar for fresh seasonal condiments and preserves, delivered to your door once a month whether you want them or not. Krysia
I wouldn't pay £20 but I loved the kids art frame you can slip pictures in and out of, I have told Hubby to make me one!
Cinnamon
I can live without the olive oil,but I NEED some of those fab cable ties for my garden........they were just brilliant!
redhotchick
Those cable ties were a good idea. I thought it was funny that none of the Dragons backed the art frames people, but they all wanted one! That's a lot of money for olive oil! Someone will start a "Honey club" soon. I believe the honey that featured in a documentary on Sunday, with Jimmy from Jimmy's farm, was the nicest he had ever tasted. Must try and catch that programme. Ain't Nobody Here
I thought Omlet could use those cable tie thingies - they were even colour co-ordinated for eglus . I'd use them .
Seagazer
Jimmy's honey programme was really fascinating. I've never watched any of his programmes before but I loved his enthusiasm for bees and honey I have so many episodes of Dragons Den to catch up on. I sky + them to watch with hubby when he gets back from working away and he falls asleep at the drop of a hat. Think I will just have to watch them on m own I love Peter Jones, such a lovely smile
missuscluck
Jimmys honey programme was fab. It makes our honey escapades look like a walk in the park. I think he was VERY brave to go up and have a go. I love Dragons Den, its one of my fave programmes. I have to admit I rarley see anything on there I would actually buy, but I love peoples enthusiasam for their product and total lack of buisiness sense in most cases. Ain't Nobody Here
Rapstrap . I used some cable ties yesterday but would have quite liked some of his instead! Edit: he's got a website http://www.rapstrap.com/

Ain't Nobody Here
I can feel a run on orange rapstraps coming on . The Omlet effect may well strike again!
Egluntyne
I can feel a run on orange rapstraps coming on . The Omlet effect may well strike again! I've just ordered some. I never watch Dragons Den, but reading about them here and looking at the website sold them to me. I re-baited my rat bait boxes yesterday, and cut and discarded (in the plastic recycling bin) half a dozen ordinary cable ties, which were 10p each. 50 reusable ties for £3.98 inc P&P seems a bargain.
