How awful! That wretched woman should be forced to throw up non-stop for nine months and see how she likes it. I heard good things about those acupressure bands, but sounds like you should try and see another doctor to me. I'm trying to stop wishing E Coli on that doctor, but it's hard.

Thanks for that really made me laugh!

A friend of mine has lent me some bands - I keep forgetting to try them  !!!

I sympathise - I used to get evening sickness as well! Fine all morning then queasy from lunchtime onwards (never actually threw up though thank goodness, was never that bad). Hated cooking tea for the family though  Do give the bands a go. My sickness got worse with each pregnancy, by 14 weeks with no 3 I decided to give them a go, but the sickness went after that so never really used them properly. I was very fortunate!

Give 'em a whirl. They do help, but take a day or two to get going properly.

Definately try them :D I took part in a survey while pregnant with YD as I had been so ill with all the others and had stick on plasters with a type of button on the inside to wear throughout the feeling nauseated stage (ie all the time  ) they were based on the sickness bands and worked really well.

I may have a couple left if you would like them? they say change them daily but mine survived the shower etc. and lasted about 3 or 4 days.

Poor you :( Have a few virtual (((((hugs))))) from me :D Let those tears roll, no point holding back!

It's horrible feeling rotten and not being able to do anything that makes it better...the end result will be worth it and you won't feel rotten forever.

How about a nice relaxing bath?

Have you tried sucking sweets? Can you stomach those? (sorry if that has just turned your stomach at the thought!)

Take care, thinking of you xxxxxx

Thanks for the hugs Looney. I could do with some TLC at the moment!

Baths do help, hubby gets quite fed up as I have been having baths that are two hours long! But I feel better in the bath so I stay there and read a book!

I have stopped using the bands as they did not seem to make and difference. I feel really hungrey this evening but also really sick so another night of no food again. I guess I will be looseing another 1.5 stone in this pregnancy too  !

I'm so sorry you are feeling so poorly. I felt nauseous for about 5 months with my 1st, in fact we had to come home early from holiday in France as I couldn't find anything to eat that I could actually think about eating, was sick a couple of times with the 2nd and then really sick with the last one. It is awful when you're supposed to be enjoying your pregnancy to feel so awful. Nothing really ever worked with me so I can't come up with any great ideas. Sorry. Hopefully it will wear off soon.
