When I do this with my friends at New Year, we never let on who's bought what. Usually you can guess a few of them, but it really should stay secret. I'm not going to give away my identity, I'm worried that my offering may be a bit disappointing compared to the stuff produced by others on here!

I agree - mainly because I'm hoping my recipient will have the same generous attitude to my offering!

I will definitely be putting my postal address on the package, I'd hate it to get lost in transit.

I'll only put my address and one of my many aliases on the package (because I take payments for a charity through my PayPal account everything I buy on Ebay gets delivered with their name on!)

 

BUT - I was explaining it to James and I think he wants to add a gift himself so it may be rather easy to guess!

well, we called it secret santa, but if you want to say who its from, then do

 

I doubt that anyone wont be happy with their gift - we all know that time and effort has been spent on the gift.

 

try and remember to wrap it nicely - but just incase, could we all leave it in the envelope until Christmas Morning.

I CAN'T open my Christmas morning - I'm flying to Florida on 21st and it's not on to take stuff through customs that you havn't packed yoruself - also there are so many restrictions on what you can and can't take into the country....

 

So should I open it on morning of 21st and keep it to myself until 25th

 

OR

 

Should I leave it for the 2nd when I get back and be in suspense.....

Royal Mail site says 1st class post 20th, 2nd class post 18th, Standard parcels 15th as last dates. All other categories (and there are a few! ) are listed individually!!!

I have something the post office sent me saying the last dates for Christmas are:

2nd class - 18th December

1st class - 20th December

And I might be relying on that...!

At the moment, the present I am MOST excited about receiving this Christmas is my Secret Santa from here!

Mine arrived this morning & I'm sooo excited about Xmas day! As I don't really have any friends, it makes this Secret Santa prezzie extra special & makes me feel special too. Does that sound daft?

I stay up until midnight Xmas eve, just so I can open one prezzie then go sleep. It might just have to be the secret santa one!
