mrsallen08
Hi all! Just bought husband's birthday present! Trip to Dublin for the day! Ryanair have sale on (no suprise there!) but I've just booked flights for £4 for both of us! Including tax etc etc. Very proud of myself! Flight out is at 7am and flights back are around 9pm so we get a good full day! Went a few years back with my sis but never been with Mr. So excited! Bit peeved that car parking has just cost £18 just for day! But still very excited! Just had to share!
The Dogmother
What an excellent idea Mrs A. It's Phil's 50th next year so I'm looking for inspiration, have already threatened with Saga membership!
MedusA
I often get little jokey bargains. OH, who likes his real ale, was on about a pewter tankard. I saw a real "English Pewter" one in a charity shop yesterday for £1.99, so I bought it. If he doesn't like it, he can always give it back to a charity shop. BTW I do get him other presents too. Also bought DD a "Harry Potter Scene it" DVD game for a tenner. Looks brand new. Bargain!

Plum
Take care, someone at work told me the flight was really cheap but the charge for using credit card was £20. Ok still cheap
mrsallen08
Thanks all! Yes you do need to always check small print with these deals. Such as extra baggage, its around £6 a bag to check in but as we are going for the day we don't need to! Also by being able to checkin online you also don't have extra costs! Take care, someone at work told me the flight was really cheap but the charge for using credit card was £20. Ok still cheap Yes I saw that too so booked it with visaelectron card instead! Sooo excited now! I am awful at keeping secrets but I am going to really try to keep it zipped! For those that were looking for inspiration for their partners what about the MPH08 show that Top Gear do!? Its in London or Birmingham in early November. We went to Earls Court for that last year and it was awesome. You do need to be a bit of a petrol head though (or married to one!)
