chickencam
I felt for her too, I thought at first that the tears were a ploy but I think she was genuinely enjoying the competition and didn't want to leave. The dresses they gave her was really unflattering too I can see why she had a moan about that. I started off not liking her and neded up feeling a bit sorry for her. I am so glad that Heather didn't go though because she was no where near as bad as the judges said and had obviously worked hard and of the 2 dance off couples they were by far the best. Cherie is pretty much exactly 15 years older than me and I hope that by then I have a figure like that because I certainly haven't now
..lay a little egg for me
John was so lovely backstage again too. John was hilarious about wanting to do the samba next week so he could recreate the spirit of Cuba. Did someone say he as a comedian before taking up politics? If not, he certainly ought to take it up! Jo Brand has just got to be his love child surely?

If not, he certainly ought to take it up! Jo Brand has just got to be his love child surely? I think it was me - I read somewhere that he used to be a stand up comic; his delivery is fantastic and so self-effacing. He has two sons, but I agree about the Jo Brand likeness

The Dogmother
I presumed that he was a bachelor I had wondered as my gaydar was clicking quietly, but the chap has been married for years. His personality is very like The Boy.. laid back, gentle and hysterically funny.

Egluntyne
His son is a TV journalist too. On the Beeb. Mike Sergeant. Spitting image of him too. Or spitting image of Jo Brand, however you want to look at it.

My OH is often assumed to be gay too! Even I thought it the first time I met him! He swears it is just his love of Oscar Wilde coming through and his desire to be enigmatic. Guest
Oh you shouldn't have missed John's Samba - a dance he said was clearly made for him! He is bottom of the leader board, but I doubt he'll be in the dance-off.

He just enjoys every single minute when he is dancing

Egluntyne
Tom was fab and so was Cherie. Heather was rather lacklustre I thought. John was cute....as ever. I loved Jodie's dance tonight. What a transformation.
KimmyCustard
Why is it that the old prune that is Arlene Phillips, mirror Craig Bag-of-Revels score almost every time?! Does she not have enough confidence to feel differently and show it with her paddle?! Len and Bruno score as they see fit, but she always (10 times out of 12) seems to agree with 'him on the end'....... Dont like her, so ner. Kimmy x PS John is such a sweetie, felt like he needed a cuddle when they said his dance had no rhythm etc. Hope he stays in.

Does she not have enough confidence to feel differently and show it with her paddle?! Len and Bruno score as they see fit It always seems to me that Bruno & Len give the same scores each time Maybe its because they all actually know what they are talking about that the scores are consistent? Guest
I'd say that too Cinnamon. Arlene doesn't always agree with Craig. But they were all quite tough tonight I thought. Time to raise the game perhaps? I really wish we had the results programme tonight.
clootie
I see Arlene Phillips is cashing in on the old "Fame" series from many moons ago. Her programme "Brittania High" airs next Sunday.
Seagazer
We loved Tom's dance, he puts so much into them. He was my favorite tonight. Quite liked Lisa's but not as much. I agreed with Craig about Cherie's dance though, it was nice but lacked something as did Rachel's. It was as if she didn't quite put her all into it. We LOVED Jodie's dance and thought she should have got higher points. They really reminded me of the old hollywood dancers. I actually said to hubby, this was before Tom had danced, that her dance was my favorite from the night. Mind you I take my hat off to them all as I can't dance for toffee. chelsea
thought Jodie did fab last night, hope she stays as she's much improved. Love Tom and he is better than Austin. Mark bless him was awful dancing and that top was even worse - wardrobe people should be shot for that!

MedusA
I think Heather's getting her coat tonight!! Me too. I loved Tom the best last night, although Jodie and Lisa were good too. I thought Austin and Cherie were OK but not on form, but John was his usual benign and lovable self (even if it wasn't really a samba. KimmyCustard
John shaking his booty was so cute, he's like your favourite uncle. Andrew's dancing wasn't the best in the world was it?! Jodie was great, think she got my share when the height portions were given out ................ Kimmy x PS Good Lordy, Andrew is back next week without a dance off! Hmmmm.
