Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

At last we have completed the walk in run and the girls have moved into the cube today.

 

 

We have built a little playground for them which they seem to like.

 

 

Andyman has hammered aluminium sheets into the ground round the edge so nothing can dig in and they have a nice shiny threshold.

 

 

I am very impressed with it and they all found their way to bed without any assistance.

 

I am a bit concerned that they will not use the Superglug no matter how much I sit with them showing how it works. I will probably put a seperate drinking container in with them for a few days.

I like the way the cube is on the outside, as it will be so much easier to clean, as I find mine being inside the run, makes it more difficult as I carry the eglu out but the cube won't fit through the door

I have to say I'm very lucky that Andyman is so Handy.

 

He is very pleased by your comments, but I won't tell him any more in case he gets too big for his boots.

 

I am very pleased with the run and spent ages out in it with the girls when I got home.

 

Note to self: Change out of work footwear before entering walk in run.

You have cleverly used the space under the cube & incorporated it into the run by wrapping weld mesh around it- why didn't I think of that?

 

I also like the little chicken "pop hole" so they can go & freerange
