Mrs Frugal
Kate, they are SOOOOOOO comfy ! I've got terrible feet and in summer they swell up in the heat and my Crocs are the most wonderfully comfortable summery shoes I've ever had. I don't dread putting them on to go out as I don't have to squeeze my feet into them with a shoehorn ! I've had similarly priced sandals in desperation when there is nothing else on the shelves which will fit me and these are miles better! The Dogmother
I love the fact that they are so easy to clean; Rosie often ends up with hers looking like she has been bog snorkling - I just wash them under the tap.
ali-s
I have never seen crocs up here which is not surprising Maybe I can get some in Nottingham next week. Any Nottingham people seen them about? I like to try shoes on before I buy as my feet are rubbish. A combination of standing up for hours at work, the type of safety shoes I have to wear and the type of tiling on the floor at work. The only footwear I find comfy are my slippers. If I can get some in Nottingham I will be a trend setter up here
The Dogmother
The only footwear I find comfy are my slippers. You'd be at home in Banbury then Ali - they all go to Tesco in their slippers

The Dogmother
Was that an accident Shona? Like walking to the shops with your pinny still on.
Guest
Yup! It was when I worked in Tesco (booooo, hissssssssssss), and I had got ready for work, but popped my slippers on till it was time to go. Pink fluffy slippers don't really go with a tesco uniform! I've NEVER worn my pinny to the shops though. (that I can remember.... )
ali-s
I have gone to work in my slippers Also to the corner shop in a pinny and took Jack's boxers to work with me

Guest
Do you want the loan of a red pair, size 8?! We were out yesterday, and we saw a woman wearing a lovely pair of pink crocs - the boys started shouting 'look mum - she's got YOUR shoes on'

buffie
I want some, I am being good though due to lots of things to pay for at the moment, holiday in jan and 2 kitties to have done Oh and the course to pay for so I will be patient. Show me on saturday girls please Following on the slippers thing I went to the gym years ago and lying down on a machine noticed my trainers were odd I lay there for ages bright red thinking everyone could see. So I went around telling people I couldn't find the pair so had to put odd ones on. No one had noticed until then and I went even more and promptly left. What a p**t I was BBx Edited August 17, 2006 by Guest
ubereglu
Sport's world sell a few colours of croc's, but I think they mostly sold black ones. I keep seeing lots of people around wearing them, it was quite starling yesterday when I turned round in a shop and saw someone with bright pink ones on!!! The Dogmother
Buff, when I worked in London, I once saw a chap on the tube wearing a pair of shoes that were black, but didn't match, they were completely different styles. If mine don't arrive by Saturday, you can count on Rosie wearing her red ones - she has lived in them this summer.
The Dogmother
I've just received an email from lookatmycrazyshoes.com to let me know that they have just had a massive order in and hope to despatch mine in the next couple of days. Fingers crossed, I'll have them to wear on Saturday.
AnnieP
Ring them up Clare and tell them you're going on holiday on Sat and would REALLY appreciate it if they were dispatched today.......
The Dogmother
I did email them when they sent me the last apology email; I said that as they had missed my summer holiday (which I had ordered them for), I would appreciate it if they arrived before the end of the summer I didn't get a direct reply, just this email this morning saying about the massive delivery. I would really recommend anyone with children getting them - Rosie loves hers and has spent all summer in her red ones, I can clean them under the tap, she can go paddling in streams in them. The childrens' ones are about £10 cheaper (and the biggest size fits me ), so they are well worth it.
ubereglu
I bet the largest kid's size croc's would fit me. I have size 8 feet!
The Dogmother
You must be growing tall then noeglu! My feet are size 2.5, so things like this often come cheap.
ubereglu
I'm only about 5' 5'', but then my Dad is 6'3'' and my Mum's dad was the shortest in his family and he was 6'. So I'm still growing taller!!!
