I Really need your help

Recommended Posts

Hi, thanks for your good wishes. :D

The exam was really hard and ambiguous. It was multiple choice and negatively marked you have to get a score of 9 at end. I did 12 of the questions and know I have three wrong :( so its in the lap of the gods. Im not looking up the rest of the answers.

Really upset this afternoon. I parked at the health centre and didn't realise I'd parked in a GP spot. When I came out a GP had blocked me in. I asked receptionist to ask him to move and had to wait an hour for him to move his car. I was so cold and mad I left a message that I had hit his car trying to get out (I didn't). He soon came out then. How arrogant can you get. It was a genuine mistake I had made. At least it made me get a lot of bad feeling out of my system.

Role on tomorrow and the dreaded OSCEs :D

How rude to keep you waiting for an hour. He obviously wasn't giving you the benefit of the doubt. I wonder how long it would have been if you hadn't pretended to have hit his car!

Good luck for tomorrow.

Phew all done and a lot better than yesterday. Didn't realise I was being filmed though  . At first station couldn't turn flipping fundoscope on and spent ages fiddling, I was just going to give it to the examiner to turn on for me when I found I was turning it the wrong way  Went uphill from then and didn't forget too much.

Will know the result of these two days by the weekend I hope.

Thanks for your good wishes. :D

Hi ANH,

I'm a nurse and the modules are from the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Msc. So they are Pathophysiology which was assignments and yesterdays horrible multiple choice paper asking horrid questions, which if you get wrong you get a point taken off those you got right.

Todays was part of Advanced assessment and diagnostic skills, so looking at how you diagnose disease from examining each part of the body. A fundoscope is what you look in the eye with and the other stations were ear, respiratory, cardiac, musculoskeletal, neurological, cranial nerves, and abdominal examination. Also had to submit three case studies for this one.

My head hurts, off to hit the bottle tonight.:lol:

Well done Plum - how long till the results? I did physiology as an option in my second year at uni ( I was actually doing chemistry). Anyway it was run by the medical school and also negatively marked to stop you guessing :(:( They are a harsh lot it seems - but then I suppose I wouldn't want you guessing what was the matter with me - although I wouldn't mind you looking it up in a book :)

Yippee passed all exams and assignments.

Just wanted to say I couldn't have done it without you. I may have been on here a lot but I've got the concentration of a chicken so a bit of studying a bit of forum and more than a bit of chocolate seem to have worked.

THANK YOU ALL MY OMLET FRIENDS :D
