Louise
That is more or less what the website says they takes ashes and purify out the graphite the compress it in extreme heat
The Dogmother
Oh, glad my memory still works then - I hadn't got round to looking at the site . Wonder what a gemnologist would make of one of these stones if they weren't told of its provenance?
Merryn
I don't know but they don't display any prices on the website so I guess the cost must be quite high They quote prices from $2,700 to $20,
Charlottechicken
They all have a reference number engraved on them so anyone looking through some sort of magnification would know what they are. I think they were always yellow as well, although think they may have branched out into blue ones according to the website. C
Louise
Blue ones take longer to press according to the website Blimey even $2,700 is alot for a piece of jewelery and I'll bet that one is unmounted When I looked at some of the finished pieces the price was witheld on them Nice idea but I don't think I can quite stretch the budget that far yet
Cinnamon
I have always fancied this idea...... http://www.lifegem.com/secondary/lgprocess2006.aspx Surely this website is a hoax??! It can't be possible I have always said that this is the only way I would ever get a diamond out of my Hubby

I have told Rosie and Phil that I want to be cremated - don't like the idea of coffins and cold ground - makes me claustrophobic just thinking about it - yes, I know I'd be dead and wouldn't know what's going on Haven't decided where I want to be scattered though. Rosie wants to keep me by her bedside, bless
Louise
I am the opposite Clare as I don't like the idea of burning and again I know I'll be dead and can't feel it but what if it hurts and you can't communicate
The Dogmother
No, I'd rather go out in a blaze of glory. I've hated every burial I have been to.
Karen & co.
I fancy my ashes produced by liquid nitrogen freezing which is being tried in this area, to be put in a massive firework and set off into the night sky, and really go out with a bang karen x

Lesley
My Gran died on November 5th - and we always have one, big, firework. My son always lights it. We always say she went out with a bang (better than thinking of the reality of what was going on in the hospital )

We always say she went out with a bang What a unique & special way to remember her Lesley im sure she appreciates it every year & i bet every one has fond memories of her on that day too. I adore bonfire night it brings back so many good memories from childhood Going up in a firework would be some way to go as long as it didnt turn out to be a damp squib! What a let down! Mrs Frugal
Bonfire Night was my Grandad's birthday and we always used to have fireworks in his garden on that day until he died. Now we have a Firework Party with a cake to celebrate firework night and his birthday. Nice to keep memories alive.
