poachedegg Posted October 31, 2008 Share Posted October 31, 2008 (edited) As me and OH we both 40 this year, we decided that rather than having a big do (as that really isn't us), we would do different things that either we have always wanted to do or just to challenge ourselves. So far we have got our chickens, guineas and dog. Hosted a girl from Belarus for 4 weeks. I have become a school governor, help run a confirmation group for teenagers (!), OH has done 10k run and we have started the long process of applying for fostering. ........so it got me thinking as OH had done fundraising for a cancer charity by doing his 10k run, what could I do? Well running definitely wasn't the answer . So I have decided to lose weight.......to lose 40lbs at 40! The money is going to Derian House Childrens Hospice in Chorley. I will start tomorrow 1st November through to 12th April, giving me about 5.5 months to do it sensibly.
