Lesley
Check out this ebay listing here It also has the Three Siblings on Lesley so you can see what it looks like on a bracelet. It looks alright doesn't it? - I might just put that one on a list........I don't usually have a list these days....
Egluntyne
Three Hundred and Fifty pounds for a used bracelet. You could have an Eglu for that price. I know......there are about 15 beads and if they are all authentic it is probably a reasonable price. It is just a bit gulp inducing. Lesley
I suppose it would be OK if you were going to sell the individual beads - but charm bracelets usually tell a personal story.......
Cooks
my last charm arrived today from the dutch seller so I would definately buy from him again.! I just have to take photos now...
BarbaraJ
I wouldn't like someone elses bracelet, certainly not at that price much rather make it personal and a colour theme

craftyhunnypie
Well I've asked hubby for a troll bracelet & charms to represent my life with him & the chooks. He just needs links of where to buy from & I'm not sure. I had a necklace about a year ago from a Dutch seller with a few beads, but the necklace is a bit too small & sort of choker length. I went for pink & black beads. I wonder where my necklace is now? What a good idea for Xmas! Emma.x
craftyhunnypie
Bought one of the leather starters Lesley from Orkney. I thought I could wear it most days, then save my special one off hubby for special days. Or just have 2 on the go. Hmmm bead shopping. I think on my special one..I would like... A cat - to represent my lovely Holly who sadly died 2 weeks ago. A chicken (or two) A buddha to represent Thailand - which we love An elephant to represent India - where we got married A handbag - need I explain? A teddy & a rabbit - our childhood cuddlies A caravan - if they do one Something musical - a note or treble clef or something Something crafty - any suggestions? A heart or something sweet &soppy. abwsco
All of mine have arrived from one of the Dutch sellers. There's only 1 that I'm a bit iffy about (not sure if it's oxidised or just very tarnished) but have another one coming from the other Dutch seller so can compare them then. I could do with a magnifier though so I can read the writing on them - lol
Lesley
I'm still waiting for mine from the Dutch seller as well.......

Chook n Boo Mum
I got the original idea from the story of 'a necklace of raindrops' which I think is one of the most beautiful childrens stories and has the most amazing illustrations. I have a friend who is a teacher & when she went for her assessments to become a deputy head she liked to read the children a story with some kind of interaction. She asked me to make her a necklace of raindrops, which I did, with the appropriate number of raindrops all attached to a silverplated chain using lobster catches, plus a few spares to allow for losses over the years. She was tickled pink & the children who she reads it to all love it too! Sha x If anyone comes across a charm that look slike a raindrop please let me know (not expensive) I used teardrop shaped crystals (they may have been plastic ones as they are less like to break if man-handled/dropped/stamped on by small people!), and it looked lovely! Would use better quality ones, maybe Swarovski (sp?) for myself though..... Was a twit & didn't take a photo !!! Sha x

craftyhunnypie
Lesley my leather bracelet came today from Orkney. I have forest green beads on mine. Just a question, are you meant to just pull them over your hand like a bangle or do they undo? I love the green ladybird on mine! They are lovely. I had mine made 18cm in total & it's perfect. Lesley
Hi Emma - the leather bracelet has a tiny bayonet fitting - you need to push the two sides of the clasp together slightly and then twist gently, it should come apart. I'm really pleased with the one I chose for Lauren, I asked the seller to base the colours on another bead which she sells and which I have bought for Lauren's Birthday in January - she made a superb choice! The same seller has also just shortened two of the bracelets I sent back as they were slightly too long - all free of charge! I've recently ordered from 4 different sellers on Ebay and have been really pleased with three of them - but I still haven't received my beads from the Dutch seller - I had a flurry of emails.....in Dutch.......I just assumed they were saying 'thank you for your payment, item is on its way'........perhaps they weren't I'll wait and see what is in the post today before trying to track it.....and I won't be ordering from them again. Cooks
which dutch seller lesley? there are two that were being mentioned. I didn't buy from one but I did the other and all have arrived safe and sound. If you want to translate the emails copy and paste them into word and review then ask it to translate into the language and it will do it for you. Lesley
Thanks Lynsey - I keep meaning to do that. I'll wait and see if it arrives today. I'll PM you about the seller - don't want to name and shame just yet

jomaxsmith
I still haven't received my beads from the Dutch seller The ones I ordered haven't arrived yet either - I think I bought them at the same time as you (I paid last Tuesday). I used the same seller as you and also Lady Butterfly. We'll see. I'm thinking that a week isn't that long to come from Europe - think about postcards, they take forever!
