Cinnamon
HELP!!! As some of you know,I am having a tough time getting on with my womery, which is just way to wiggly for my liking Anyhow,I fed them some lettuce today & noticed hundereds of tiny white eggs on all the waste in there The nearest thing I can equate it too is the inside of a fig....lots & lots of them. So, do worms lay eggs to have babies,or has somthing got in there & laid its eggs, ready to deluge me with lots of horrible baby thingies? Lesley-Jean
Worms lay their eggs in a cocoon. Slugs and snails don't. Is it possible you have slugs (or snails) in there

Egluntyne
The little beige eggs are probably worm eggs or cocoons. Depends how long the wormery has been established. Put a pic in the gallery if you can.
Lesley
yes .......... fly eggs! Yes, Kate - I point to a pile of peelings and ask Carl to take them to the wormery - or, i send Jake - he spends ages playing with the spiders
The Dogmother
Yuk! I hate spiders too Lesley. I have lots of fruit flies around and in my owrmery, but no other flies. Good news though; the worms are now working up in the top layer Wooo Hooo!
