"It's Egluntine!"

Recommended Posts

My OH and I are watching Sky Cops on tv and there was a bit on reckless motorcyclists in Sheffield, I saw two cooling towers appear on screen and shouted (not thinking straight) "It's Egluntine!"

My OH looked at me  and asked what I had said, I very  muttered "nothing"

the conversation then went:

OH - "You mentioned an Eglu"

ME - "Did I?"

OH - "Did you say you wanted an Eglu?"

ME - "no"

OH - "Did you BUY another Eglu?"

I didnt think he would understand so now he thinks I am crazy

I feel like ANH when she saw 'her' initials on a number plate.

Oh heck. My heart sinks when I see a thread with my name in the title. :D.

At first I thought you were saying that you had seen me speeding on a motorbike, being chased by the police!

Tinsley Towers...... *sigh*......Sheffield hasn't come out of mourning yet. :(

The skyline looks so empty near Meadowhell now.

Is there any hope for us?

does it matter as long as we're happy?

coming through immigration on the way back from Calais tonight I got chatting to the uniformed bloke... he asked the purpose of our visit to France, was it just a day trip? So... being me I launched in to the whole thing of how we'd not just shopped we'd gone in to Calais 'proper' and what a lovely little town it is and how we'd gone to the beach and how fantastic the day had been... He suggested that this might be an odd time of year to go to the beach ( :shock:really??? )

so OH leaned across and said by way of explanation, "She's from Suffolk" and I added, "Lowestoft actually..." and the bloke laughed and said "Fair enough, that explains a lot..."

 what do you think he meant by that, Janty?

I'm always yelling at any chickens I see on the telly (or anywhere, really  ) to much :roll::roll: from the whole family  .

Me too. It goes something like this.....

"C-H-I-C-K-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-N-S"

OH and DD have disowned me.:oops::oops:

Same here  I found chickens when on holiday in Corfu and shouted at DH to stop the car  there was a lot of  from him! I then heard some boking when we were in France earlier this month and had to try and hunt them out  and also got very excited when i realised the people opposite the house were hoping to rent are chicken keepers. Is there any hope?!!!
