Came home from work yesterday to find a DVD of Silent Witness series 2 through my letterbox. Not in an envelope or jiffybag, just the DVD .

 

I haven't talked to anybody about Silent Witness (I don't like Amanda Burton much so don't even watch it) so can't work out where it's come from.

 

I can only think somebody's borrowed it and then returned it to the wrong house . Can't have been a close friend .

Shouldn't think so for a minute . Don't think she's ever watched or owned a DVD . Anyway, she's doing a good job of pretending I don't exist - I haven't spoken to her since Boxing Day. It's been great .

 

Thought I might put a note through the neighbour's door (she never answers her door so I can't just knock on the door ) and see if it's hers (or if she got one too!). Can't see it being the other (older) neighbours'.

 

I haven't heard of the "pink bra" either .

How intruiging!

Last year someone left a red petrol can with a note attached to it in our drive...The note was thanking us for the petrol and lettng us know he/she got the car started and he/she even enclosed a £5 note!!

No one has any idea who it was or when it was left.

I came home one day before Christmas and there were cards through the door from next door. There were about five cards which were addressed to son, the chickens, my Dad, the in-laws and one for Barbara and Gordon. I went round to see them as I assumed that the children had posted the wrong card through. Michelle next door said 'Don't you get it?...Good Life?' She was mortified when I pointed out that the Good Life was Barbara and Tom.
