Lesley
I loved seeing the bees - except I had to rush off and hack a bit of the honeycomb we took off the hive last autumn Interesting to see what they used to use to extract honey - it's changed very little. Tiggy
I thought the episode with the sewing machine was very funny I loved the man who came to demonstrate it. What a character. Victorian clothes suited him somehow. Have Sk+'d it. I'm sure I saw that chap at Ludlow castle and at the Wiggly Wigglers open day. I'd love to keep bees, but I'm a little scared of getting stung, and OH has already said "dont even think about it"
Lewis
I watched it and thought it was interesting. Did they tell you if the shire horse's hoof was any better after putting that paste onto it? or will that be next week

Snowy
I'm enjoying it - very informative! (I didn't know where rennet came from ) And to think that someone probably discovered cheese after watching a calf vomit is extra I had to laugh at the sewing machine one - considering her 'skill' on the machine, I find it very hard to believe that she then produced that intricate outfit!! Still good watching though.
