Rona
I don't like gravy with a roast but I do like: Toasted teacake and bacon butty Cold baked beans Cold ambrosia rice pudding (but can't have that now I'm dairy free) A really thick end crust of a wholemeal loaf, toasted with a dollop of ketchup and a fried egg. Mug of custard - haven't had that for years but suppose I could have it now with soya milk.
BeckyBoo
Toasted white muffin with proper salted butter fried egg and black pepper - food of the Gods But mostly I like cold food. Cold sprouts with mayo, bacon cooked until it's solid it's so crispy, best eaten cold (specially the bits of streaky bacon from covering a roasted turkey!!) I just had a cold lamb chop that MD didn't have for her tea, or cream crackers with butter then chocolate spread SOOOOO thick it squeezes through the little holes - and whilst we're on the subject of chocolate spread, when I was a little gril (some years ago) Cadburys did chocolate spread in a red and white round plastic tub, it was almost dark chocolate and was to die for. And now I want some BeckyBoo

Cooks
chocolate spread is too sickly for me unless on icecream, but I have been known to buy it in the past when they were putting it in Scooby Doo glass, so when you;d eaten it all your left with the glass. We still have those.
