Lesley
I posted about this right at the beginning of the New Year - the pink hat that JL was wearing on her visit to Norway to see the Northern Lights....... I have had two emails now from the Norwegian Company that sells them - they don't have a UK distributor but I can buy direct from them. The man I've been speaking to doesn't have a very good grasp of business English and my Norwegian is non-existant so we're struggling a bit I have a Bank Account number to send money to but no other details like Bank Name etc....... I do have the price though - the hat is £20 and the freight is £10. I've asked my Norwegian friend to act as a go-between - I think I would be able to have more than one hat delivered for £10 so does anyone else want to buy a hat? I can order them all together and we could share the postage. I shouldn't think the UK postage would be much either as they will be quite light, so I will just post them on. myles
hi ooh lovely stuff, been thinking about ordering myself, but have an abundace of hats so I was wondering if it possible to order some fingerless gloves and socks? let us know, but we don't want to be too much trouble. We presume 100% ull is 100% wool. Anne

We presume 100% ull is 100% wool. Anne Yes, it is. Gloves and socks may be a bit difficult - I'm still waiting to hear back from my friend - it doesn't help that she's living in S Korea at the moment. I've asked her to translate for me - and have only mentioned the hats. She has two little ones - the baby is only a few months old so i have to wait for her response. I'll see what I can do - any colour preference? The mittens shown with the hat are £20 btw. - I wasn't going to bother with matching mittens. Omletina Kyckling
If you need any help with translating, both me (and another Omleteer, sorry I've forgotten who!) speak Swedish, which is very similar to Norwegian so I'd be happy to help if you are unsure about anything. I can try, at least!!
Paola
Now why did we not think of you Omletina
..lay a little egg for me
If you need any help with translating, both me (and another Omleteer, sorry I've forgotten who!) speak Swedish, which is very similar to Norwegian so I'd be happy to help if you are unsure about anything. I can try, at least!! That would be me, I think...well I do speak Swedish to approx 'O' level standard I would guess as it is a bit better than my Frensh which I did to O level. When we toured Norway we spoke Swedish to them and they understood perfectly. Ditto in Denmark.
Lesley
Thank you both - I'll see if I hear from Stine tomorrow. I would think the hats are one size Paola.

Lesley
RIGHT - I'M READY TO GO!!!! I now have the translation I need to be able to send an email tomorrow morning, so anyone else who wants one has until 8am Monday to decide! So far, the list is...... Me - Pink Clare - Orange striped Fowlbird - 1 Pink and 1 Red Paola - Pink Pam and Anne - possibly? I'll let you all know about postage as soon as I hear back on Monday - it should therefore be £20 per hat plus a small share of the postage. I think the postage shouldn't be much more than the £10 he quoted for just the one hat. If it is......I'll come back and check before confirming the order. I'll make the International Banking payment. Then, I'll PM everyone with my address to send a cheque.
