abwsco
Thanks everyone Just put their temporary home of a rabbit hutch in the run and the Silver Dorking ran into it and laid us an egg Oh, and if Hubby hadn't of been with me and youngest DD we'd have come home with a gorgeous bantam cockerel as well. There were four she was wanting to get rid of. They didn't make much noise when we were there so it was very tempting!
Barkisland
Gorgeous Anne! Where did you get them?
abwsco
Gorgeous Anne! Where did you get them? Fiona, there's a lady who has a stables/livery yard/chickens not so far from us. We were told about her last year and got Mo and Barney from her. She always has a real mixture and I just happened to email her last night not thinking she'd have anything - lol Wish we had more room as I still want more! Barkisland
They are really lovely girls, - I would like the details of where you got them please, as it should also be near enough for me to get some (in due course ). and fab that you have got an egg already! What colour is it?
thewhitehouse
They look lovely The silver Dorking looks very attractive. That's one of the breeds on my list for additions next year. They appeal because they are not only attractive but a rare British breed too.
