Hi Everyone,

The weather here in Preesall has been mixed but it has only just begun to rain here.

Been mainly overcast most of the day a little sunny early in the morning.

 

We went to the vets today not for the hens but for Missy our boxer girl who we had

mated but wanted to know if she is expecting and could they estimate how many pups might be there?

The answer is yes and 4 to 6 pups, so now have to make a whelping box .... Ian job !!

 

So how has the weather been with you today whether ever in the world you are?

Replay of yesterday here... mild, gloomy and dampish.

We had sun for about 2 minutes yesterday and a small patch of blue sky - then we had just a grey blanket - which appears to be still with us. Although some patches are dark and it looks like it is about to rain, it is quite mild - enough to not bother with a jumper or a coat outside.

According to the paper it will get cold again next week

I just looked at a long range forecast and it is supposed to turn much colder for the next couple of weeks

 

We want to start on the allotment but we are away this weekend which looks like it will be nice here and not so nice where we are going

Typical isn't it? the first weekend when it looks to be dry, and I might actually get some time t work in the garden and it's going to turn bitter again and might even snow

Harrumph...I was hoping to get my greenhouse up over the next week. Darn it!

What a difference a half day makes this morning dull and raining and now bright sunshine and clear blue sky.

But we still have a cold wind. Well that the weather forecast for Preesall.

A mild but murky day.

Hoping it's not going to get cold again- the garden's just started to spring into life!

Ended up with rain in the air late this afternoon, supposed to rain tomorrow. Boohoo.

It's another grey day but I guess Spring is in the air.

Hubby planted another tit box with a web cam over the weekend and some birds are investigating it.

The Rooks are pulling our birch apart leaving with twigs in their beaks.

The rookery took quite a battering in the winter winds so there is quite a bit of housekeeping to be done.

The forecast for the weekend seems to have gone down hill and for the next couple of weeks looks cold and wet

Me too, the wind is bitter now and I was surprised to see 7deg on the thermometer at lunchtime. Trust my luck to need to be smart today, hence skirt and tights!

It didn't rain - in fact it was quite nice-ish. The sun tried to break through the thin clouds many times. It did feel slightly chillier though. Finished rather overcast.

Hi Everyone

Here is the weather as it has been in Preesall today. Most of the day it has been cloudy with a cold wind and this evening it rained.

Tomorrow it is meant to be clouds and sunshine but as we shall be taking our youngest son

to hospital in Manchester and we will not be back until Saturday as tests have to be done, we will not be on here.

We shall be staying over night in a travel lodge and next door is on hen duty for us.

Woke up to . . . SUNSHINE! Some whispy clouds and the planes are making noughts and crosses grids with their vapour trails - lovely. About 8 degrees outside in the shade.
