Leicester_H
Chikki was not at all sure about this white stuff They decided keeping to the edges was their best bet Pots also provided a safe place Chikki always worries when she can't see Boo Preparing to Jump...3....2....1..... oh dear.... Boo found it a bit cold on the feet Well - it must be good for something - lets try EATING it They did like eating snowballs ! Chikki found a nice snow free area, below the bay tree - but how could she get back she pondered 'footprints' Edited February 5, 2009 by Guest

Leicester_H
Is your whole run and eglu on wheels? Yes - OH Built a wooden base from fence panels (??). Screwed run to it (so pretty fox proof)- eglu attached to run, also on base. Added wheels so can be moved around easily. Also, easy to clean out bark chippings. Leicester_H
Your chickens are lovely but Boo is very striking what breed is she? Both 'standard' (but lovely!!) Omlet chickens. One of each - Boo is the Mrs Pepperpot. Chikki is Gingernut ranger - she is still moulting a bit - 'lots' of her feather in the run. I do wish she'd grow her tail feather back - she looks so scruffy - I've had a word with her but she takes no notice of me at all!!!
