Omletina Kyckling
I'm a happy bunny. I bought a pair of velvet jeans on Ebay a few days ago and they came this morning and they've made my life complete The story behind this is that I have a pair of plum coloured velvet jeans with a wide bootleg cut, which I bought from Monsoon about 5 years ago (for about £70). I've worn them and worn them and the velvet on the bottom is now almost bald. Everybody has always commented on them (the jeans, not the bald bum!) so I've been getting increasingly sad that they are on their last legs! Anyway, I saw a pair on Ebay last week, in my size, which looked very similar so decided to try to buy them - I got them for £15 including postage and they came this morning and they are identical to my beloved trousers and look like they've never been worn!! I thought you'd like to share my joy!! It doesn't take much to make this Omletina happy, does it?
Cooks
I am glad you are happy. I tore the crotch out of my trousers today at work and had to call my husband to make a mercy dash to my house for a pair of jeans! and I wish I was making that up, but sadly I am not Those trousers sound lovely I have to admit. bluekarin
I love it when that happens! I had a gorgeous skirt from Monsoon which I wore and wore (am wearing now, but its a different colour as I had to dye it) but I found it in the original colour AND my size and won it for a bargain price I love eBay but not some eBayers
dancing cloud
Sounds like a great purchase I've recently bought M&S throws for my new suite at a fraction for the price I would have had to pay from the shop and they are lovely. All I need is the suite to arrive now ...

Egluntyne
Lovely that you have found a replacement. When you get an article of clothing that you love, it is really heartbreaking when they wear out.
Cinnamon
Its great when that happens, isn't it? I had a gorgeous Evans top which I loved & which I had only worn a few times (saving it for 'best' which was a stupid idea) when I managed to rip a hole in it. I too managed to get a replacement on ebay.......& I am wearing it right now
little chickadee
I managed to get my husband an almost never worn version of a favourite Quiksilver fleece he's worn non stop for years! It's great being able to replace beloved clothes. I've done this a few times with my daughters' favourite dresses too when she's been in tears because she's grown out of them. Glad you've managed to replace your trousers

At the top of the page, click on user control panel. On the left hand side now you'll see a list. Click on Profile. Another list will come up. Click on Edit signature. Then just type in what you would like your signature to be. You can do a preview so you can see what it's like before you submit it, which is what I do, and then you can mess about with the colours etc. Hope this is of some help. Good Luck!
