Purplemaniacs
Ahhh, glad you had a helper, gardening is much more fun when you have someone helping you. Nutmeg is lovely and such a good name. What type is she? Chrissie
Snowy
Chrissie Nutmeg is a Merrydale Sweetie - she is lovely, very friendly! Karlotta the crochet pattern is from an old magazine that a friend copied for me. I had to banish them from helping today - we were trying to lay the slabs for the greenhouse base and we needed a nice flat surface
Purplemaniacs
Chrissie Nutmeg is a Merrydale Sweetie - she is lovely, very friendly! Latte is a Merrydale Sweetie but she is completely cream, she is my sons chicken, very friendly and lays darkish brown eggs that are almost spheres. She is very helpful too Chrissie

She is very helpful too Chrissie Funnily enough Nutmegs eggs are spherical as well and deep brown. They are only small compared to the other girls of the same age, but she is very regular! Chook n Boo Mum
What beautiful laydees Snowy! Glad mine aren't the only ones who do that dance & love to help. Would be better if they chose to dance away from where my fork is swinging, but hey I'm just their slave who digs to feed them lovely snacks Nutmeg looks just like Snowdrop who's an Amber Star, I assume same "mix" just different breeder name. Had a quick peek down your blog - what a treasure trove you found in the loft, I did similar in a box my Mum had filled for me a few weeks ago now. Most of the offcuts I recognised, I have no idea what the mile of yellow felt was all about though Sha x
