MerchDuw
Hi. Just wondering what you all are using on your hen house floor? I have bark chips down at the moment.
jennybrom
hiya, I've got a layer of paper on the poo tray with some diatomaceous earth and some aubiose on top - although most of the aubiose has been kicked out of the nest box by Gladys arranging herself to lay ! I mix bokashi with their pellets and have found that the poos tend to be dry enough to just manage with the paper on the whole (sorry, that's a bit gross!) I use the paper so i can just lift the whole thing out and not have to pick off every poo (even more gross!)
Egluntyne
Aubiose here.

thewhitehouse
Just paper in the droppings tray here (nice poos thanks to bokashi) and bark chippings on the run floor. Works for me!
Plum
Newspaper in poo trays and hemcore in the nest box with a piece of newspaper underneath (old news though )

Hen Watch
Auboise 1" deep in run. Auboise in nest box. Newspaper and handful of Auboise in the eglu poop tray. Bit fan of Auboise here....
atsw
Newspaper to line the poo tray, Straw in the nest box and Auboise on the floor of the Walk-in-Run (Which is on slabs). Bit of an Auboise fan here too, although I've read that Easibed is very similar, so I might give that a go next time, depending on comparative costs. stoice
Hi. Just wondering what you all are using on your hen house floor? I have bark chips down at the moment. Not sure if you meant eglu/cube as you say 'hen house'. I use hemcore/aubiose as a beedding mentioned by all the omletters above but I don't have an eglu (Sadly) so underneath the bedding I have lined my shed with cushion floor lino. This makes washing and cleaning it really easy.
