When we had the porch rebuilt last year, there were two slate tiles left over from doing the floor. So I stuck one either side of the front door. Since then I have been trying to decide what to put on them. I knew I wanted the house number, but not what design, or what to put on the other side. Until I found these at a craft fair:

I love these mosaics made from beach pottery. So I had a brainwave and asked if they could make me .... yes you guessed:

I'm dead chuffed with them! (although I can now see that my door and windows are in desperate need of a coat or two of paint )
