I keep looking at my Barnvelder and thinking she is standing rather tall and have my doubts - but I did wait for them until Wernlas felt they were old enough to sex them and I am sure they are far my experienced than I. Griffin Posted May 3, 2009 Share Posted May 3, 2009 It was around 4/5 weeks that I could tell my Light Sussex apart. The girls don't have combs while the boys do so even though her stance was a bit manly I'd say Claudia is a girl. Mine feathered up at the same rate and I was sure they were all boys. There really was nothing differing them from one another apart from their combs and at ten weeks it's still the same, although Forest, my boy, has got a bit bigger than his two sisters this week.
