fluffyknickers
Thought I would put this on here. The eggs are really easy to make and good fun too. Just blow the eggs - the hole will be covered by ribbon so dont worry. paint the eggs - i like using tester pots from any diy place or any you have laying around If you want to add extra decoration then use something like pretty tissue paper, something from a pack of hankies, coloured tissue etc vut out the shape and stick it on the egg with glue such as PVA or any glue that will dry clear. Then once dry you can coat the whole of the egg with the glue or varnish if you have some. Once dry stick some ribbon round the egg covering the hole you made to blow it. make a loop and glue it on and you can make a little bow too to cover the joins and stick it on. Sorry this is late for this year but you can make them anytime you like! Some pictures below and Edited April 10, 2009 by Guest

bigmommasally
They're lovely. I think I'll have a go at these for next year. This may be a dumb question as I've never tried blowing an egg before but can you use the contents of the eggs you blow? I've made some Easter Bunting this year to decorate my conservatory, I'm quite pleased with it - it looks really pretty.

Thanks Plum - No it has to come down today - some of the fabric has chicks and bunnies on so its a bit too eastery to keep up all year. I think I may make some more though for summer and have it up in the garden.
