It looks cool ... but I have a feeling it would be like those recipe organisers that kind friends have given me, I'd put off using it until I could sort everything and chuck out the out-of-date stuff etc , and I'd never get round to using it!

 

I keep mine in an old ammo box, brother-in-law belongs to a rifle club and he gave it to me years ago.

I use a large plastic container with A$ file dividers - I always said I should patent it - although it doesn't look anywhere as nice as that one.

It came today & its really,really nice BUT it has a big dent in the front

 

So they are sending me another & said I could keep the dented one

 

Might bung it on Ebay or something....

It's lovely, Sarah . Shame it's dented but I'm glad you're getting a replacement. I don't have anything nearly so lovely, I'm afraid. It's just a lidded wooden box which is in dire need of a bit of paint, I think! I'll have to do a makeover on it sometime .

It's been in my loft for years, OH keeps threatening to throw it out so I had to do something with it!

I'm debating whether or not to paint it in that soft grey green, the same colour as Lesley's front door. Although it does look quite nice as it is - it does stink of TCP when it is open

I think it looks nice just how it is. Would spoil its originallity. It will make a lovely seed box. TCP lingers does't it.....
