SeramaSilly
Actually I bet they're quite good in concert as they always seem to have a real sense of humour! They were good on Coronation Street - you might meet Les Battersby there!! Sophie x
Charlottechicken
Funny you should say that! That's what my friend is afraid of, bumping into Les Battersby! And yes, they are brilliant in concert. I have seen them several times before (not a fan... honest ), it helps get you into the party mood for Christmas, all that leaping around and singing at the top of your voice! Mrs Frugal
They are good in concert! Enjoy it (but don't wear the tour T-shirt out in public ).
Linda
They are good in concert! Enjoy it (but don't wear the tour T-shirt out in public ). No, you'll gain much more street cred in an Omlet t-shirt!
Charlottechicken
I won't 'indulge' in a tour T shirt, wouldn't want to disturb the moths in my purse! There's no point wearing a 'band' T shirt to a Quo concert, the fans won't have their reading glasses on, just the ones for distance
bellekatz
I saw them supporting Queen in their first comeback tour back in 1985/6! Cant believe they are still doing gigs!!!!
Linda
Amazing isn't it when they must have a combined age of 876!
Guest
My brothers go to all the Quo gigs they can - always a December one. Is that in Birmingham? They also go to Epsom Racecourse in the summer and I think one on the south coast as well. I obviously don't listen enough and can't remember where they all are! Francis Rossi lives quite near - and my nephew has Francis as one of his middle names in honour of the Quo!
Popcorn
Stefan was nearly a Francis - until Darren remembered about Francis Rossi!
Ms Cluck
I have a friend who is a total Status Quo fan - he goes to all the concerts 4 or 5 times a year. We travel into London together in to work (by Coach) and if ever they play 'The Quo' on the radio - he starts head banging and the Air Guitar comes out. Fridays are mainly dress down day in the city - my friend will be the one wondering around Canary Wharf in the Quo T-shirt. LYn
Guest
Birmingham can't be all that far from you. Saturday 9th December. http://www.statusquo.co.uk/uktour06.htm
Guest
I don't know how you afford to do any of those wonderful things, but I think it's great that you manage. Quo tour every year, so I don't think next year will be any different. My brothers have been to see them at Birmingham NEC every year for ages now. I'll let you know if I hear this year is the last! theherd123
Birmingham can't be all that far from you. Saturday 9th December. http://www.statusquo.co.uk/uktour06.htm It's very close to us and very easy by Pendolino, but I have just shelled out on Rolling Stones, Madness (NEC Christmas) and Sound of Music (Palladium) tickets for the four of us (and you never get a concession for children ), so I feel we have spent up on shows for the time being! Rolling Stones cost the same price / more that a proper, good holiday for the four of us! * And we just went on the last "Shakespeare Express" at the weekend which is a mainline steam train between Birmingham Snow Hill and Stratford. We travelled in the Pullman Car and had Sunday dinner. The steward saw the children and was ready to point us back towards standard class (Jules and Harry were the only children in there)! I really would love us to go but I think we have had too much for 2006! Now, I wonder whether the Quo will tour again next year??? You can put me down for them in 2007! * It may have been dear, but the children will NEVER, EVER, EVER forget that show! Dan!!! You have a prior date on the 9th of December or have you forgotten!!!!!!
