Dust Bunnies

Recommended Posts

When DS was about 4 he was TERRIFIED of dustbunnies, goodness knows what he thought they were, but every night I had to go through a routine of dusting down the shelves and around his bed so there was no food for the DBs and spraying water with teatree oil added around his room as a deterrent so they didn't come out at night. We also had a picture of a fairy which we copied from a book, laminated & stuck above his bed so she watched over him. His room has never been so clean, it made him put his toys away for a while too!!!

The things we do for our children :roll: !!

That's great joojoo, thank you for sharing!

Dustbunnies always remind me of miniature tumbleweed. We have solid floors through most of the house, and two very hairy cats, so we have a bit of a db farm going in the places Raymondo the ROomba can't reach.

:oops::( my poor dust bunnies.

Rover the Roomba sucks them up from under the sofas (we also have wood floors so LOTS of dust bunnies), but then he deposits their mangled remains on the edge of the rug in the living room. It's quite a thick rug, so when Rover climbs up onto it he 'wipes' his brush on the edges... the poor dust bunnies end up as grey stripes along the borders of the rug.

Perhaps I should round them up and send them to Redwing's sanctuary? It sounds so much kinder!
