Cinnamon
I am looking for a bikini for my eldest daughter, & we are having problems. She is about a 10-12, but with a big bust, so I am looking for bikinis sold as separates & bra sized if possible.Underwiring is a must, & it needs to be robust enough to stand up to the rapids at Centerparcs without her popping out , oh & not too expensive either I have found a few, but they are a bit matronly for a 16 year old Any ideas? clootie
Nice but a bit pricey? Does it need to be a bikini and not a one piece? http://www.johnlewis.com/24480/Product.aspx

Lydia
I have the same problem and prefer underwired too. I always find M & S a good option. They do separates. Admittedly I'm rather older than 16 but don't consider myself matronly just yet
BarbaraJ
I'm sure theres more in Next too http://www.next.co.uk/shot.asp?extra=sch&b=G34&p=3172&s=1&n=Women&pid=462-747&exclude=00D00%7c00DJ00&returnurl=http%3a%2f%2fsearch%2enext%2eco%2euk%2fsearch%3fp%3dQ%26lbc%3dnext%26uid%3d902024542%26ts%3dv7%26w%3dbikini%26af%3d%26isort%3dscore%26method%3dand%26filter%3dsubset%253a1907%26nxtv%3d0%26nxti%3d0&bct=%26quot%3bbikini%26quot%3b
Cinnamon
Been looking at the M&S collections - nothing really takes her fancy & online the size 12 tops are only up to a C cup Those are nice, but not very 'her' either I am afraid Poet & Clootie. Just trawling through the Next site & there are several possibilities there, but I am never sure if there swimwear is especially robust.... Still, if it lasts a weekend on the rapids then thats all I ask

Cinnamon
Clootie, that turquoise spot one is PERFECT!!! That is her favourite colour & that sort of '50's styling suits her shape really well But sadly it only goes up to a C cup We are looking at a DD at least. Next is looking good at the moment. I think I shall do an order & see what fits her best.

furryelephant
I get mine from La Senza ... they go up to an F cup in lots of their styles. Even better if you have an outlet store nearby, as I picked up 2 last year for a fiver each
redfrock
Bravissimo have got a sale on at the moment and they have some of their bikinis in the sale. Not had a good look but they are definitely one of the better options for the bigger bust. You can also get a 10% discount through Quidco which is even better Edited May 7, 2009 by Guest
theherd123
How about Figleaves http://www.figleaves.com/uk/department.asp?dept=swim&cm_re=menu-_-menu_bottom-_-swim Also Bravissimo do a lovely Bond style bikini - would love one myself!
Cinnamon
Thanks all - I have some research to do now I didn't realise La Senza did swimwear, so will look in there next week too. I am hoping that between Next,La Senza & New Look we can find something suitable for her shape, but still really pretty.
The Dogmother
Debenhams had some sold separately last time I looked The turquoise one is very pretty.
WitchHazel
Bravissimo is probably the best place to go, you can get to the shop in Ealing very esily, it's not far from Ealing Broadway station. She can then be properly measured to get the right size. 7 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong size, usually too bug in the back and too small in the cup. Cinnamon
Think we might pop to the Oxford one soon WitchHazel, & get ourselves both 'sorted' for bras while we are there too.

xChicken04x
ASOS have some good ones: http://www.asos.com/Women/Swimwear/Cat/pgecategory.aspx?cid=2238#parentID=-1&pge=0&pgeSize=200&sort=-
Bantambabe
I swear by bravissimo -( not at them!). Was a life (or atleast cleavage) changing moment when I found them - shame they weren't around when I had my kids and went up to a J cup Anyway, their mail order is really good. You have to pay up front but I've never had any problems with returning things to them (free p&p) and have always had money reimbursed on returns promptly. Means you don't mind ordering a few different sizes or styles to find the one you like.
